Beware. Black and Decker drills last about 3 or 4 yrs. and then they change the battery "specs" and you can't replace it nor will they give you a break on a new one. You'll be lucky of you can find replacements on eBay, because everyone else is in the same boat.

the black & decker 18 volt cordless drill is a very nice drill for the cost of the product,you get quality and an affordable price that does the job and then some.built to last and performs just as well as th etop brand drills if not equal. it can be bought at most stores and it sells at a decent price and the value is there as well.plenty of power to do most jobs ,comfortable to use and reliable as well.

I am a typical fixer-upper type of person--y'know, I do what I can before calling in someone else to do the job.  This drill actually helps so much I am finding myself *wanting *to do chores that I would not have tackled otherwise (seriously!).  I am always a bit nervous using a corded drill because of the cord getting in the way--plus a regular drill always seemed a bit **too **powerful, you know what I mean?  I am a mom of three girls, so there is no end of jobs that need done,and this has done them all!  I bought an extra bit set right away (about 10 bucks) so that I would have all the versatility I would need to do any task.  Features of this drill: - rechargeable (of course!) - easily charged - comes with a nice case - several different power settings, plus drill or screw option - reverse at the push of a button - powerful - charges for a long time The manual is a bit vague, but the drill is easy enough to operate and figure out.  So far I have drilled through wood, assembled numerous items with the driver bits, installed grab bars in wood, metal and masonry (with proper bits), repaired a ladder and much more!  I love the convenience of being able to grab this and go without worrying about the confines of a cord.  It has been powerful enough for everything I have needed it for so far, and stays charged much longer than a thought it would--and, best of all, it's a really great deal!

This is a great basic drill.  If you are the kind of guy who doesn't want anyone else touching your beloved tools I would suggest you buy this drill for the other members of your household.  It is a great example of the Black & Decker brand.  It is affordable but not cheap.  It is dependable.  It has different accessories and settings but can be easlily used and understood by everyone.  It is great that it is cordless as well.  It is just easier to handle a cordless drill and if you have this as a family tool you want something that is easy to use.  The only thing I would like to change is the battery life.  I wish they would upgrade the battery power and lasting as they do the drill... I know the technology exists. I found that Black & Decker is consistant with all of their accessories.  What I use for my tools I can also use for this (for the most part).  It's a great dependable brand that you can trust your loved ones with.

The Black and Decker cordless drill is a great drill.  It has a lot of power unlike some cordless drills.  It is also lightweight so your hand doesn't great tired if you are drilling for a long time.  I have had other cordless drills and they don't compare to the Black and Decker cordless drill.  It is great for any job insid the house or out.  Because it is cordless you can take it anywhere and use it for any job.  It comes with a few different bit sizes and accomodates many more.  It can also being used to screw or unscrew philips and flat screws.  This is a big time saver is you are putting together do it yourself furniture or trying to put together a doll house on Christmas Eve a eleven o'clock at night!  I would recommend this drill to any do-it-yourselfer even if you don't have a lot of experience it is easy to use.  One safety tip,  always but some safety eyewear, you never know when you may have a problem when you use power tools!

Every two or three years I get new cordless drill and the battery always dies on me. When I look at the price for a new battery, it's worth it to just buy a new drill... This year I bought this black & decker cordless drill on Black Friday, so I got quite a steal on it!!! I love the LED light on the bottom of the drill, it makes the work so much easier because even though you have light, this provides more guidance. I charged the battery when I first got it and used it in a couple of hours. I love the power on it... for such a small compact drill, you'd be surprised! It did not come with a carrying case, but you can buy one fairly cheap. I had no problem putting on the different size bits, like I had with another cordless drill.  The charging plug was not bulky either, so you can plug it in the wall and it won't take up as much space as the older drills do... I would highly recommenced this drill!

this is a great drill that my family has. it is not heavy to carry and it offers a great drilling experience. when i got this drill i was worried that it would not be sharp enough to go through tough areas, but my worries were gone soon after i got this started and began to use it. i like how i am able to take it anywhere outside or in my home so that i can use it. the drill is great because it has no cord so i do not have to worry about where i use it and i do not have to worry about a tangled cord either. the drill is strong and it is of a very good quality. the battery in the drill is long lasting and i like that because it saves me time and money. i got one of these drills for my older brother as a birthday present and he said it is the best gift i have ever given him. i like the low noise level of this drill because i can work in my garage without disturbing my neighbors and family members.

i think the cordless dirll is a handy tool to have in the work place and at home when needed and whith the right parts you can use it anyweare that you work. so i think everybody should have one. is small to have,ez to use,even your women or wife can use it. you can charge it esley. you can go fast and slow if you like it get the job done . even your kids can use it. with out getting hurt. one day did a job with a hand driver and it took me forever to finsh the job bu i got a cordless drill and it took me afew min. to do the job. so i wood like people to try the black n decker cordless drill. it do knot cost very much money,and it is easy to use. o buy this prouduct if you won;t a ez. and good job. ps thnk you for reading my essay about this prouduct.

I purchased my Black & Decker drill over 17 years ago when a friend and I started doing a lot of wood crafts.  This is just one of many tools we use.  My friend had one and loved it and suggested I buy the same one.  Men don't think women know how to use "men" tools as they call any kind of work tool.  Not only did we drill tons of different size hole in our projects but after using a drill press we used the Black & Decker as a screw driver also. It came with two screw driver bits with two different tips on each bit. So not only do I use this for crafts I use it to do handy work around the house. I recently put a new roof on a shelter over my grill and instead of nailing my playwood, I used my drill and bought screws to use instead of nails and the job went a lot quicker than pounding every nail with a hammer.  In the winter I always put plastic all around my front porch so instead of tacking it on, I find long strips of  thin wood and buy small wood screws and put it on that way. When it's time to take the plastic off I just use reverse on my drill and takes no time to get it all down and I don't have the mess like I use to by nailing the plastic on and my boards breaking and leaving me to work all day trying to get all the roofing nails off my banisters.  This is not just a drill, I can even put on attachments for sanding also.  When I know I am going to be doing some type of project using my drill I just plug it into the charger and let it charge over night and it works all day on that one charge.  A great product, another of my favorite brands of tools.  I have lots of them aslo.  Yes I am a woman but I have my tool box just like you men do and I know how to use them all.

I was tired of having to borrow a drill from my brother and it never being charged, covered in grease, and him yelling at me if  I dont put it back in the case to his rules. So I went out and purchased my very own drill. I love my black and decker cordless drill. Now I know when it needs charged, its not covered in grease, and I can use it at my own convenience. Its so easy to use a flick of the switch and I am ready to drill. Its got a very simple chuck to change drill bits depending upon what I need. Its simple enough to use that anyone could use this after reading through instructions for a couple of minutes.
