I love this coffe pot.  I always had a tendnecy to leave mine plugged in too long and burn the coffee.  I would get busy and not drink the whole or even a half pot.  I would really hate the smell in the kitchen after two hours or so leaving the pot on.  Now I don't have to worry about it.      I program the time for it too start, fill it and forget about it.  It brews with the automatic timer, and I wake up to a hot cup of coffee.  Sleep in, not to worry the coffee stays hot in the thermal carafe for hours.  I don't have to worry about when I leave, if I turned off the coffee pot.  I used to have to come back home and go in to check and make sure I turned it off.     I can also take the carafe with me. If I am going to be gone for a long time and know I'll need coffee, I can take the carafe and a travel mug.  It keeps the coffee hot for a while, even in the car.  That saves me money on buying coffee out.
