fantastic Black & Decker 18" Electric Mower

practical, needing outside help

green power, handled my huge yard, lightweight, never have to buy gas, always starts unlike pull cord mowers, easy to maneuver, quieter than gas mowers, nice even cutting

Black & Decker 18" Electric Mulching Mower —

Black & Decker 18" electric mulching mower - best thing I ever bought. It is a power horse. Does everything I ask it to do & then some. I bought this lawn mower in June 2008 because I didn't want to have to try to start a gas mower as I am an "older" woman. I bought a 100' outdoor extension cord to use with it. I have had it a month & have mowed all over my yard, including the 1/2 acre I have for my horse. Even mowed in some high grass. The mulching part is wonderful. I would give this machine 5 stars. I do plan on getting a riding mower for the larger areas just because it is too hot in my part of the country & it's too exhausting. I will just use it by the small area in front of my house & the back yard. By the way, I loaned it to my sister-in-law to use & she loves it too.
