I bought one of these for my office at work. I work in a student support office and the old coffee maker that they had was just pitiful. I got one of these on sale at Black Friday and everyone loves it. My only downfall is that I can't get anyone to keep it clean. I love the giant 10 cup coffee holder. There are four of us that work in the office and a ten cup pot is great because it's enough for all of us to have a cup of coffee and a second cup if we want. It's more of a sharable size than the old coffee pot that the office had that was just a two cup brewer. It's a really simple machine to use. You simply put a filter in and pour in your desired amount of coffee. This can be challenging sometimes because some of us like a strong brew and others like a weaker brew. After you put the coffee in, you pour water into the back of the machine. Afterwards, you turn it on and it goes to work. You can use cool water or even cold water but I always go ahead and use warm water in the back even though the machine heats the water up more to brew the coffee. It isn't fancy but it's efficient and great for our budget conscious office. I didn't even have to fight the droves of people too hard to get this at a great Black Friday price. Brew Performance I like less water and more coffee flavor and this brews out a bit weak if you follow directions. I seem to have this issue with a lot of machines but it's easily remedied with less water or more grounds. Ease of Cleaning It's very easy to clean the machine. I don't like that the back doesn't come off because sometimes it would be nice to be able clean the water holding unit in the wash instead of with a damp cloth. Ease of Use It's very simple to use but you have to be careful with the filter because sometimes it crinkles up and ground get in the brew. You can also use this pot to make tea. Design I wish I could clean the water tank on this but it's designed like most standard, older pots and machines. I like the design. It works out nice and it has a heavy, sturdy glass pot with it. Durability I've dropped the glass pot several times and it's held up every time. We've had our brewer for almost a year and it's doing great. We use it daily Monday thru Saturday, several brews a day with no issues.

We bought the Black & Decker 10 cup coffee maker when we moved into a new house and I wanted everything in my kitchen to match. I love the black sleek modern look. I had never owned a coffee maker that could be programmed to automatically turn on at a specific time. This feature comes in handy. I use this coffee maker when I want to drink on coffee all day or have company. It's very simple to use and makes coffee very quick. Another feature is auto cleaning and I usually do this at least once a month, more if it's used more. This coffee maker has some size to it and does take up some room on the countertop. For the price I'm very pleased with it, there's nothing fancy about the coffee maker but it does make a good cup of coffee. Brew Performance Makes a great cup of coffee in a short amount of time and keeps coffee hot. Ease of Cleaning Add water, press a button, it cleans itself. Easy to wipe down. Ease of Use Very simple to make coffee with. Design I love the modern black look. Durability Quality built.

This is a great coffee makers at a reasonable price. Why pay a lot of money for something that does the same thing as this one. My family uses this every day and loves it. Ease of Cleaning Easy access for cleaning even though seldom required. Ease of Use So easy to use my children make my coffee because they want to. Never any difficulty with programming or results of brew time. Would never own another coffee maker as long as this one is on the market. Design Looks like an expensive machine without the price.

I am a big fan of coffee, so I have been through many types, styles, and brands or coffee makers. This specific coffee maker, Black & Decker 10-cup, was given to me by my grandmother last Christmas. It still works as good today as the day I took it out of the box. Brew Performance Most coffee makers will begin to brew slowly after repeated use. My Black & Decker has not skipped a beat in the whole year I have had it. Ease of Cleaning It is easy to clean, I do a routine washing with soap and water and it does fine. Ease of Use Very basic, so easy that a child could easily get it ready to brew. There is nothing different than expensive coffee pots. Design I love the up-dated design, and the fact that it is black. White coffee pots eventually stain, even if they are washed with bleach daily, coffee stains will show. With my Black and Decker, there is no need to worry about staining, and it looks like a very modern coffee pot that would be hard to operate, but it isn't. Durability It has held up well. I have brewed at least 2 pots of coffee a day since last Christmas, (2012), and it still brews wonderfully.

We've had this Black & Decker 10 cup Stainless Steel coffee maker for a few years now and I love it.  When we had the other kind that had a glass pot, I would have to put the coffee in a thermos to keep it warm and make it last.  With this coffee maker I don't need an extra thermos sitting around and I never have to worry about the pot staying on and burning the coffee because it doesn't work that way.  It brews the coffee into the stainless steel pot and then shuts off, so if you forget that's ok.  It is very easy to use and works very well with regular cleaning.  It is very easy to fill with water as it has a removable tank for the water that fits neatly under the faucet.  This seems to be a very durable brand and it has lasted longer than my last 2 coffee makers which were made by Mr. Coffee.  I don't think I would ever switch brands now.  I highly recommend this brand for quality, ease of use and convenience.

The Black & Decker Brew Master coffee maker makes the best coffee I have ever made at home. The first one we bought lasted over 4 years before we had to replace it. The only reason we did replace it was it was leaking a little bit of water around the base and if we had changed the gasket would have probably lasted years longer. We gave it to my son and he has changed the gasket and continues to use it. I also got one for my youngest son and he loves it and uses it daily. It is simple, easy to use, easy to clean. An excellent buy for the purchase price also. Lasts allot longer than any other coffee maker I have owned. We are big coffee drinkers and make at least 3 or more pots in a days time. I would definately purchase it again, in fact just bought one for my office also and everyone there loves it too. I have used many different coffee makers over the years and this is the best one I have found yet. The timer is great, fix the pot, set the timer and the coffee is made when I get up each morning.

Percolators are my absolute favorite coffeemakers, and I've tried everything, having lived for extended time in six different countries. Coffee comes out in the morning with the rythm that harmonizes with my waking self.Some people prefer a melior - it's of course a treat, but for me the one cup, and the wait while it steeps, are distinct disadvantages. Somehow the traditional pot of coffee gives me deep reassurance. This Coffeemaker is absolutely perfect: smooth, independent, self-cleaning (I mean of course easy to keep), it's like a kitten purring for me. The temperature is excellent - too many percolators produce a lukewarm broth. Cofee has zing and smoothness, the easy you into whaterver you need to do; large enough and warm enough for me to linger, organize the day, and have cup after cup after cup. I willingly confess that affordability was the decisive factor for me, but this was a fortunate match: I found a friend! Thank you, B&D.

I have had this coffee maker for over five years and have had no serious problems with it. Positives: I like being able to program the coffee maker to make coffee for me automatically in the morning. I like that the coffee maker takes the standard #4 coffee filters. The heating plate stays on for a long period of time and keeps the coffee warm. The housing for the coffee filter comes out of the coffee maker for easy disposal of the used coffee grounds and filter. Since the computer system on this coffee maker is limited, it is very simple to use and understand. The lines on the side of the carafe are easy to use when measuring water. The window on the side of the coffee maker makes it easy to see how much water has been added to the coffee maker. Cons: If the coffee maker is unplugged the clock needs to be reprogrammed along with any automatic times to start the coffee maker. The cover on the carafe does not come off easily, which makes cleaning the carafe a little cumbersome. This coffee maker does not come with a coffee grinder attached to it. The functionality of the computer system is not advanced like some coffee makers.

This coffee maker was purchased completely on impulse, as my signifigant other and I kind of had the idea that we needed a new coffee maker in the back of our minds, but we weren't specifically looking for one at the time. However, we stumbled across this coffee maker on sale for 80% off, and bought it immediately.The programmable feature is awesome. All you need to do is program the timer, put the water and coffee in the maker, and leave it be! Set it for ten or fifteen minutes before your alarm goes off, and you'll wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee. My signifigant other wakes up an hour before I do and is generally gone by the time I eat breakfast, and even though the coffee started brewing an hour prior, it's still hot in the pot and ready to drink. Seeing as I'm a bumbling mess upon waking up in the morning, it's far more convenient to have prepared the coffee in the evening and still wake up to fresh coffee rather than fumble my way around the kitchen in the morning. Five stars for 10 cups!

The Black & Decker Cafe Noir coffee maker is simply awesome!  It is a fairly inexpensive little machine, so it is definitely worth the money.  I have never been a huge fan of slow-drip coffee makers like this one, but they are usually just more convenient.  This Cafe Noir, however, seems far superior to other slow-drip machines.  The coffee comes out strong and tastes just great!  It has a timer, so you can set it the night before and have delicious coffee waiting for you the next day.  It's a great little treat to look forward to before work.  Also, it has a nice feature that you can pull out the coffee pot and it will not continue to drip.  That way, if it is still brewing, you can sneak a cup and then put the pot right back to finish the job.  The warmer on the bottom does a decent job overall too, but it could keep the coffee hotter.  Overall, it is easy to use and makes excellent coffee!
