I was amazed at how easy this is to use. You simply fill the water tank, plug it in, and it is rady to go in just a few seconds. I can do my entire kitchen and hallway on one tank of water. I feel good abount not using chemicals to clean the floor. It is not too difficult to push or maneuver, although having to hold the button down constantly is a little annoying- guess it is a safety feature and at least I know I can put the mop down and not over steam the spot where I left it.
You have to be very careful with this prodict on single-tile floors. I used it on my basement floor, and I followed the directions for holding it for 15 seconds on tough spots. That caused my individual tiles to peel up. So, it might not be for you if you have that type of flooring. It is actually fine as long as you don't hold it on "steam" in one spot for too long, which is really not necessary, anyway. Another drawback is that you must sweep before using. This product does not pick up crumbs and you could actually end up scratching your floor if it drags crumbs around.
I feel good about not using chemicals on the floor. We have pets and I worry about them getting chemicals on their feet and then licking at the chemicals. This takes care of paw prints and stains and keeps my floor looking great.
