Bottom Line - I love it and here is my story if you care to read further... I have white linoleum in the kitchen which is where my Labradors come in after playing in the often-times muddy backyard. It is also where I feed my two year old twins who still think it is funny to throw food at each other AND is the main entrance from the garage where we do not have a mudroom. So, we planned to switch to a flooring better suited to the wear that wouldn't show the mess as quickly. Unexpected expenses delayed our plan and this is my $90 solution! The Bissell Steam Mop is sleek looking and not bulky. The water heats up quickly and is ready to go in no time. In order for it to clean the really tough areas, you must pass the Steam Mop over the area slowly to give the steam time to work. So maybe this isn't as quick as mopping but it sure is easier! I don't feel like it is the same amount of "drudgery" involved with dragging out the mop and bucket. This is simply fill up the water tank, attach the cover, plug it in, wait about 30 seconds and go! No messy water to squeeze out of the mop or dirty water to dump. And as a bonus - no chemicals to buy & environmentally friendly! I do think the covers will wear out fairly quickly based on what they look like after 2 weeks of use so I would recommend just buying them at the same time that you order this. I highly recommend the Bissell Steam Mop and am looking forward to many years of happy use - even if we go to tile (which doesn't seem as urgent aymore)

did you find you had too much water the first time you used it? I tried mine and felt it left too much water on the floor, it is to steam clean and be dry right aferward correct? not sure if i will like it if the floor stays wet for quie awhile.

This sounds really good. I'm thinking I would like to get one.
