Bissell SpotBot Robotic Wet/Dry Vacuum Reviews

With a new home and clean, sparkling carpets....and a puppy, this is a must have.  Gus was relatively trained before moving into our new place, however, a new place coupled with new schedules, accidents happen.

 The SpotBot is a great help for both the surface and set in tougher stains.  In fact, it almost reminds me of those info-mercials, you know the ones...Set it and Forget it.  You can do just that with the SpotBot.  It's a matter of simply filing the container with cleaning solution and water, placing the SpotBot over stain, then selecting surface or set in stain.  It then does the cycle...

I love my Bissell Spot Bot!  Not only does this thing clean up mud spots or the occassional spilled soda, but it cleans after my kids and Boxer. 

We have thrown a lot at our Spot Bot and it has yet to disappoint me.  When we first got our Boxer (a rescue dog) he was very nervous and had a few accidents inside... on my new carpet.  The Spot Bot removed the stains and the smells the first time we applied it.  No complaints.  No repeated attempts at the stain.  Since then, it has continued to work on spit-up baby food, spilled juice from sippy cups and the day that my toddler let the dog in...

About four or five months ago I purchased the Bissell Spot Bot for about $110. Although I was a little skeptical about the claims-turn it on automatic, leave it over the spot, and let it run its cycle-I have been very pleased with it. I've owned two predecessor models, the Bissell Little Green Machine and the Little Green Machine Steamer Turbo. They both worked pretty good. The turbo was better because of the "Turbo" brush that came with it and the fact that it also heated the water (although it's not a true steamer-no matter what they say in the name). I was afraid without the heated water...

I was given the SpotBot by my mom, who is a cleanaholic, and thought that my upright steamcleaner was way too cumbersome. I use the SpotBot at least once a week. I have two boys and a cat. Especially during potty training, having it filled and ready to go is what helped me get through the day. I have picked up EVERY mess you can think of. Vomit, pee, poop, a whole gallon of bleach that was on my carpet, Burt's Bees shampoo, juice... you name it!!

After you clean up yucky stuff, I would fill the sink full of H20 and a little bleach and just take the wand and suck some of that bleach water...

My best Christmas gift in years! 

During the spring and fall my 2 cats make a hobby of "leaving" hairballs and eaten grass only on the carpeted areas of my home.  Paper towels and sponges clean up the mess but there's always a stain left, a small stain but still noticeable.  Hated lugging the steam vacuum out and measuring solution for a stain no bigger than my hand.  So the SpotBot is PERFECT!  I can easily fill the solution holder with any amount I like, plug it in, place it on the stain, push the button and walk away. I come back when it starts beeping (telling me that it's done scrubbing...

We LOVE our Spot Bot!!! It is so easy to use and the stains just disappear. With two dogs we have the occasional puke and pee stain that in the past have just gotten pressed down into the pad. The Spot Bot sucks it all up and leaves the room smelling great. I would never have the patience to sit and spray and suck with a tradition carpet cleaner so the stains never came all the way out. The spot bot does it all for you while you walk away and do something else.

You do have to be careful to make sure to suck up any extra solution left in the carpet, sometimes it feels a little damp when the cycle...
