Bissell SpotBot Robotic Wet/Dry Vacuum —
I recently purchased one of these on a "whim" and discovered that I just love the spotbot. I have a full size steam-cleaner that works well but takes a lot of energy to get out and set up and use if your not cleaning the "whole" rug. The spotbot really solves this problem when you have a small area or spot that needs cleaned and you don't have the time to drag out the big machine. It can leave a round circle but this can be blended in if you use the hand held attachment and "blend" it into the rest of the rug. I have also found that it can get out spots that are more difficult with a steam cleaner because it has the bristles to scrub the rug. I use the spotbot on difficult spots even before cleaning with the steam-cleaner. It has been a great investment in our house.
