Hi, I own this deep cleaner in my house and it cost me 87.00. I bought it at Kmart and I was so happy it was on sale that I wanted to buy up a whole lot of them. Well, I have been using it in my house for about 1 year now and the cleaning is good. It lifts the pet stains right out of the floor and the Bissell 1770 Upright Steam Cleaner is light weight to move around also. I bought it around the summer time. I was looking for a carpet cleaner due to the high amount of pet traffic I have in my living room and finally got sick of scrubbing up spots on my hands and knees cursing at the dogs all while doing it. I went out and bought the Bissell Quicksteamer for around 85 dollars at Kmart and I cannot be any happier!! It's lightweight and easy to fill and does EXACTLY what its suppost to do. The large tough brissels on the steamer make it easy to clean up spots on my floor. The Bissell Quick Steamer cleans not only your carpet but it also cleans your wood, vinyl and whatever else floors. I love this carpet cleaner. It has so many different cleaners that will outfit your every need. My floor looks brand new after every cleaning. The tank could be a lot bigger because one of the downfalls is that you have to refill it at least four to five times per room. The outcome out-ways most of this though. This was the best buy I ever made! I've had it for a year now and I don't know how I ever lived without it. My parents spend a few hundred dollars on this huge bulky shampooer and mine works 10xs better!! When my kids spill a drink, I don't freak out, I just grab my bissel and get the hot water running and it sucks up all the spilled liquid then I shampoo over the spot and prevent what could have been nasty stains. But if I do find a stain, I spray some homelife carpet spray on the spot and shampoo over it and like magic it's gone. I can't imagine what my carpets would look like if I didn't have this. As the owner of two pet (and two boys) I found myself in need of a solid carpet cleaner without a lot of fuss. I am not technically inclined or handy around the house, nor did I want to spend a long time reading through instructions trying to figure out a new machine. I knew that if a carpet cleaner was too much trouble to use, it would not get used.I came across the Bissell QuickSteamer Lighweight Deep Cleaner **at the store. The price was right for $70. I like the fact that it is lightweight, it is easy to use and it required very little assembly or set up time. Using the **Bissell QuickSteamer Lighweight Deep Cleaner **is actually kind of fun. It scrubs the carpet and sucks up set in stains, leaving your carper smelling fresh and looking like new.I highly recommend the **Bissell QuickSteamer Lighweight Deep Cleaner, especially for people like me who are intimidated by more complicated appliances.

The Bissell 1770 Quicksteamer is so easy to use. I bought mine back in June and absolutely love it. Previously, I had a different brand that was a lot older and it was absolutely a nightmare to use! I used to dread having to pull it out and assemble it. The Bissell Quicksteamer is nothing like that. You simply take off the little compartment off the back add some carpet cleaner, fill the rest with warm water and re-attach it to the back of the cleaner. Next you plug it up and clean your carpet! In my opinion, it cleans well and gives your house that fresh, clean scent. I recommend this cleaner to anyone who is in the market for a general use carpet cleaner. I have no regrets for buying it. If mine broke for some reason, I would definitely purchase another one. My mother - in- law got one for Mother's Day last year and she feels the same way about hers. You can't go wrong purchasing the Bissell Quicksteamer!

I have had the Bissell Quicksteamer for a year now. Let me tell you it is handy to have around, because I have two dogs and two cats! I needed something that was a little lighter weight for me to use everyday if needed. This vacuum is perfect for just that I can bring it out to clean as needed and stow it away just as easy! It is perfect for everyday messes. I bought this vacuum through Target and got a realy good deal at the time. I am very satisfied with it for what it does. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it is not for full carpet cleaning. It is more spot specific, it you are looking for a carpet cleaner this is not it. For that I bought a heavy duty bissel steamcleaner. But that is a lot more difficult to manuever!

As a new pet owner and college student renting an apartment, I was concerned when my dog had accidents.  The walkway in front of the door looked awful, as friends walked in and our new nervous dog did her business on the carpet.  I headed to the store looking for a cheap, but good working carpet cleaner.  I could not believe the deal we got for such a great steam cleaner.  After cleaning just the spot in front of the door, I was appalled at the difference in the rest of the carpet and excited to clean the rest of the house.

Ok, I received the Bissell Quick Steamer Carpet Cleaner from my brother. He used it once for a job and no longer needed it so yipee for me! I do love that it cleans my carpets and when used immediatly will get up most spills and stains. The brushes only move when you push or pull the steamer they do not rotate on their own like some steamers do. This is an ok thing since you generally are moving the steamer anyway. I do like that you can see the dirt in the dirty water so you feel you are getting your carpet clean. I have recently tried the Bissell Quicksteamer II and found it to be very easy to use. The tank has to be emptied and refilled after about half a room, but it's a quick process so not inconvenient to do. The price is very fair compaired to many other steamers out there. For a quicksteamer, I was very surprised at how clean my carpets looked after using it. It's recommended to spot clean any stains before using it, but I found that since it does take out a lot of the stains itself, it was easier for me to spot clean after using it. This is the best small size carpet cleaner I have found. I love this one so much that when the one I had last year broke I immediately ran out and got this model. I also bought a hoover to see how they compared. This one was the best by far and I will tell you why. This machine is incredibly light. After getting a puppy a few months ago, I quickly realized that I would need to begin cleaning my carpets on a more regular basis! I saw this Bissell on sale in Kohl's and with my coupon it was worth the gamle. I have to say- I am impressed!! It came with enough soap to clean two rooms in my house, which was a great perk.

It was so easy to use- the instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. I put it together, filled it up and started cleaning. This machine is easy to use and very light weight. I was able to easily manuver it around the carpet and saw an instant result. I was shocked by how dirty the water was when I emptied the tank!

The machine was very easy to empty and clean out. I did have a little bit of a problem emptying out the rug fibers, but it wasnt a big deal. Overall I am very happy with this rug cleaner- espically for the price. You really cant beat it. My rug was dry in 4 hours and looking fantastic! This is so easy I will be pulling it out once a month now!

Cleans good for the price, great for puppy mishaps. Nice way to freshen up carpets with spring cleaning or anytime. Only thing I really dislike is the little filter/sponge like thing on the dirty water container. The holder gets jammed if you don't get it in just right a real pain. One more problem, getting the dirty water container clean, small areas dirt gets in and no way to clean it and I wash out right away. This would still not discourage me from purchasing it again. By the way I did, used the first one so hard and for a few years it finally had to be replace and I purchased the same one again.

 I bought a big, high priced carpet shampooer, loaned it out and it came back broken so needed a replacement quick, that didn't cost a fortune. Got a great buy at Pamida on the Bissell Quicksteam unit and it works just great. It is lightweight compared to others and that makes it easy to push around the house. We have carpeting in every room, of this huge old farmhouse,  my husband is a mechanic and we have 5 cats, so this comes in really handy. It is small enough that I can easily pick it up and do each step on the stairs without fighting it to clean the entire step or exhausting myself by carrying it around. Bissell 1770 QuickSteamer Deep Cleaner

The Bissell QuickSteamer is a wonderful, lightweight floor cleaner.  The solution tank holds approximately a 1/2 gallon of cleaning solution and the collection tank holds approximately a 1/2 gallon of the dirty water as well.  You need to empty and fill the tanks frequently, but  I do not mind because they are lightweight and easy to handle.

You must be very careful to make sure that the plastic latches for the collection tank are fastened down tightly or it will not work properly.  But they are easy to do compared to some other models that I have used.

I purchased the Bissell QuickSteamer for $79.  The manual was very easy to read and I had the cleaner assembled in a couple of minutes.  I forgot to buy the cleaning solution, but to my surprise there was a small bottle in it.  Therefore, I was able to clean my bathroom rug immediately.  It was easy to use and I was done in no time.
