Bissell machines die after 2 years.

Bissell Quick Steam Machine Vacuum — 

I have been through 3 bissell carpet cleaners in the past 6 years.  IThey die within 2 years everytime. I use them for emergency spot treatments and for cleaning the households carpet.  The motors start getting weaker and weaker until they finally go "Ka put".  though they do OK work while they are new however it usually takes several passes to satisfy me.  As long as they can be bought for under $100 they are not worth it

Hoover has several in the $150 range, my Hoover is 2 years old an gets used every month and is still going strong. Mine is an Agility. Ron

It's not like there's a huge market of these floor cleaners for the $100 price and because it's Bissell I kept on hoping.
