This is a great product and I really like it. The main problem I  have with this product is that the construction is poor.  I have bought 2 of these machines in the last 3 years. I've had them repaired and then eventually had to replace them.

We just purchased a Bissell Proheat Deep Cleaner and I am so happy with the quality of work it does! My carpets get clean and stay looking clean, like they are new carpets, for a long time! I have an eleven month old who is crawling and I finally feel good about her being on the floor all the time playing. It is easy to pull out and clean up quick spills also, it is a bit heavy, but very easy and fast to set up and clean an area. It is pretty quiet also. My 2 year old hates the vacume cleaner because it is really noisy, but she will tolerate the steam cleaner!

This carpet cleaner is great! I have to have a clean house, and this handy carpet cleaner really does the trick. I have two small boys, a dog, and a husband, who all track in mud and dirt on my light-colored carpet. The Proheat Deep Cleaner comes in handy, because it is easy to use, relatively light-weight compared to other carpet cleaners I have used, and is very intuitive. It is easy to see when the water needs to be changed with its tank-in-tank technology, plus the mixing indicator lets you know when it is empty of either water or cleaning solution. I have model #9200. It works OK, but is cheaply made. I only used it a few times and the bladder ripped. I bought a new one, then the plastic hooks on the nozzle broke and the screw that holds it on is stripped. I read reviews before I purchased it. It wasn't rated very good but I bought it anyway. Big mistake! It also leaks and uses a lot of cleaning solution.

The Bissell Proheat is easy to use. It cleans well on some messes. But other spots you have to go over it several times and it might not clean it l all. Some of the parts are very easy to break, no matter how careful you are. Even though it is easy to fill unit with water and cleaning solution, it is not eay to clean after use.

I love my bissell pro heat carpet cleaner. Our lab just went into heat and made a small mess on my new living room carpet. It is cleaned it right up and it is sooo simple to use. It even cleaned up some spills I hadn't noticed from my grandkids, from the previous day. It is easy on the back too!

We owned the cleaner for a year. It worked at first and then the gear that holds the brush broke. We went thru 3 belts in 1 year with it. It worked really good for the first few months and then it wouldn't clean as well. Forget about taking it apart and cleaning it, what a hassle.

We bought this before having our carpets professionally cleaned for a cost of $55 for just our living room, a 12x16 space.  Not sure how to use it at first, we decided we would just pay to have the room cleaned and then start using the machine afterwards to keep up w/ our four dogs and common foot traffic.  After being disappointed with the results of the professional steam cleaning and teflon protectant that was applied to our carpet, we decided to try the Bissell Pro Heat.  We had purchased it for around $260.

I have the Bissell Proheat Deep Cleaner and love it!  I had a professional company come one year ( I was being lazy) and after they left I had to clean the carpet because it was not clean enough.  After that I just use my machine because I paid that company $150, I only paid $230 for my machine and use it ALOT with my 2 little girls and my light beige carpet. 

You will pull out lots of yucky dirt, you won't believe it was even in the carpet before.  Even if you just used it twice it would pay for itself.  And if you have little one's running around you really need this-they think nothing of...

Being a mother of four children, my carpet takes a definite beating on a daily basis.  I previously have owned several cleaners but  this one seems to be the best I have had.  I beleive the heat helps to clean the carpet better and lift the dirt better.  Just using this once a week has helped improve the look of my carpet, giving it a more plush healthier look.  The only downfall of this is trying to clean it.  I own a dog and cat and the hair that comes from the carpet likes to get stuck in the main head of the cleaner.  It is worth the hassle to clean though with the results that you get.... review »

Ok, first of all this is a really great all-around product.  At a little over a $100 it is cheaper than other carpet shampooers but works great.  The only problem I have with the shampooer is that it is big and bulky so it is hard to find a place to store it.  It is very simple to use, you simply pour a cup of the solution in and fill the bucket with water.  It also does a very good job.  I had a spot on the floor where a dog had an accident that was worse than normal.  I simply went over it a few times and it all came up.  I would definitely recommend this product!

What a great product, I can not stop raving about it!  I got this product on a wonderful sale and was excited about it before I even used it!  Easy assembly too!  I did it all by myself with just a phillips screw driver in about 20 min or so.  Easy to start out too!  I was on my way to beautiful carpets in no time!  Worked great with all the dog hair too, there were balls of carpet fiber, which is normal according to the instuctions, and the dog hair, and I just picked them up and threw them away in no time, it is great!!!! Can't say enough about bissell, thanks!!!

This product is so great. It costs less than the price of having a professional come in to clean your carpet one time. It is fast, easy, lightweight and does an excellent job. It gets out pet stains and even the window cleaner the dog spilled on the carpet that I couldn't get out. The brushes even plump up the carpet so it looks like it did when it was brand new. Would highly recommend to anyone. At this time of year when it is difficult to get a professional to come on their busy schedule you can do it yourself and save lots of money.

I love my Bissell Steam Cleaner.  I have a dog that is not the best at potty training.  This cleaner helps get the pee pee stains out and the smell.  I use it all the time.  It just has easy has using the vacuum cleaner.  A large bottle of cleaner lasts awhile, you don't have to use much.  I have an area rug that I clean also, and the traffic areas by the front door.  It does the trick.  I use it on a regular basis to keep my carpet clean and fresh smelling.
