Bissell Proheat Deep Cleaner Vacuum Reviews

This carpet cleaner is great! I have to have a clean house, and this handy carpet cleaner really does the trick. I have two small boys, a dog, and a husband, who all track in mud and dirt on my light-colored carpet. The Proheat Deep Cleaner comes in handy, because it is easy to use, relatively light-weight compared to other carpet cleaners I have used, and is very intuitive. We bought this before having our carpets professionally cleaned for a cost of $55 for just our living room, a 12x16 space.  Not sure how to use it at first, we decided we would just pay to have the room cleaned and then start using the machine afterwards to keep up w/ our four dogs and common foot traffic.  After being disappointed with the results of the professional steam cleaning and teflon protectant that was applied to our carpet, we decided to try the Bissell Pro Heat.  We had purchased it for around $260.  —  We are never paying to professionally clean… read full review »

Being a mother of four children, my carpet takes a definite beating on a daily basis.  I previously have owned several cleaners but  this one seems to be the best I have had.  I beleive the heat helps to clean the carpet better and lift the dirt better.  Just using this once a week has helped improve the look of my carpet, giving it a more plush healthier look.  The only downfall of this is trying to clean it.  I own a dog and cat and the hair that comes from the carpet likes to get stuck in the main head of the cleaner.  It is worth the hassle to clean… read full review »

Ok, first of all this is a really great all-around product.  At a little over a $100 it is cheaper than other carpet shampooers but works great.  The only problem I have with the shampooer is that it is big and bulky so it is hard to find a place to store it.  It is very simple to use, you simply pour a cup of the solution in and fill the bucket with water.  It also does a very good job.  I had a spot on the floor where a dog had an accident that was worse than normal.  I simply went over it a few times and it all came up.  I would definitely recommend this… read full review »

What a great product, I can not stop raving about it!  I got this product on a wonderful sale and was excited about it before I even used it!  Easy assembly too!  I did it all by myself with just a phillips screw driver in about 20 min or so.  Easy to start out too!  I was on my way to beautiful carpets in no time!  Worked great with all the dog hair too, there were balls of carpet fiber, which is normal according to the instuctions, and the dog hair, and I just picked them up and threw them away in no time, it is great!!!! This product is so great. It costs less than the price of having a professional come in to clean your carpet one time. It is fast, easy, lightweight and does an excellent job. It gets out pet stains and even the window cleaner the dog spilled on the carpet that I couldn't get out. The brushes even plump up the carpet so it looks like it did when it was brand new. This steam cleaner really does provide a good value, and is very effective as a home cleaning machine. The heater gives it an edge over similar home cleaners, and the spot target feature is great for stains and very dirty areas. — The only trouble  I have had was finding replacement parts when my children broke the bladder inside the water tank, but if you are in the US that will not be a problem. We got this steam cleaner for a wedding present, and it is a fairly good steam cleaner.  You should still have your floors professionaly cleaned it is not as good as professional, as none are.  It is very good in between cleanings espesially with pets.  You floors look nice and clean afterwards and although it doesn't get tough old stains out it does get most things… read full review »

I have model #9200. It works OK, but is cheaply made. I only used it a few times and the bladder ripped. I bought a new one, then the plastic hooks on the nozzle broke and the screw that holds it on is stripped. I read reviews before I purchased it. It wasn't rated very good but I bought it anyway.
