I was very pleased with this vacuum which I received as a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. We recently moved into a carpeted apartment so did not have one and had been sweeping up to the purchase of this vacuum I believe she paid around $100 for it it did very well on both the tile floor as well as the low carpeting throughout my house and carpet tiles used in several of the bedrooms. You can empty it with one hand however the dust cloud does kind of come up some when it hits the bottom of the trash can that would be the one complaining I have about it. Otherwise I'm actually super happy with how well it goes and I would certainly buy another one.

This is a really great and affordable vacuum, for the price you cant beat it. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. It has great suction power and picks up very well. I have cats and it works well getting all the pet hair up out of the carpet. My cats got fleas last summer and after vacuuming I could see fleas jumping around trapped inside the vacuum. I vacuumed daily to help eliminate that problem. It is so easy to clean, just pop it open and dump it all out and your good to go. Every now and then I'll notice it starting to lose suction power, which is fixed easily by taking out and cleaning the filters. After that it works like brand new again, I've had no trouble with this vacuum at all. The attachments it comes with are great and make reaching some places much easier. The power cord itself is also very long which is great cause you can get a whole room or room and a half done without changing outlets. I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

I got this vacuum for a great low price from Wal-Mart after my full sized Bissell, that I loved and had for years, sustained irreparable damages. That said, I got this vac with rather high expectations. If you are considering this vacuum, understand that it is a compact model - and compact it is! The pictures can be deceiving, but it is little (and cute!). The first thing I noticed was how much air this thing actually blows out! Debris seemed to be blown out of the way before I could vacuum it up! And due to the design of the canister it's a little tricky to close at first. Other major issues are the length of its hose, it is considerably shorter than full sized models, so it can be somewhat restrictive when you are trying to use it with upholstery or to clean up crevices and such, you won't get far without lugging the main part of the vacuum with you . And be warned: you will need a extension cable with this vacuum (unless, of course, you are vacuuming a small closet with an outlet), the power cord on this vacuum is extremely short. In most circumstances you will not make it across the room without having to unplug and re-plug.

It works good for light cleaning, I wouldn't recommend it for anything heavy duty. Maneuverability It's fairly easy to push around, also it is very lightweight and easy to carry around to different rooms. Ease of Maintenance I haven't had any issues at all with dumping the filter, you don't have to touch the dirt, just dump it in the trash can and you are done. Suction Performance It does an okay job, I wouldn't recommend it for anything heavy duty. It doesn't really pick up anything that's heavier weight. Versatility I am only giving a 7 because I haven't tried this on anything but carpet. I am assuming it would do fine on hardwood floors, I just haven't tried it on mine yet. Design I really like the design, it's small and compact and does not take up a ton of room. It also looks nice sitting out if you do not have a closet or something to keep it in out of the way. It comes in different colors also, I chose the black. Durability So far it seems pretty durable. I have only had mine about 3 weeks. I am pretty hard on my vacuums so we will see how it stands up later on in the future.

I love this vacuum. We have owned several vacuums, all varying in price, over the past 20 years. This one is hands-down my favorite one. If I would have known that a cheaper vacuum worked better than it's more expensive counterparts, I would have purchased it from the start!! Now we know. Thank you, Bissell, for such an easy-to-use product. This product has great maneuverability, function, clean-up, power, and attachments. I have two, young children and two dogs. This vacuum picks up more pet hair than any vacuum I have previously owned. I cannot sing the praises of this vacuum enough! Maneuverability The size and minimal design of this vacuum allows easy maneuverability. I have not had an area or corner this cannot access. I find that it is light and easy to handle as well. This made it easy-to-use during a recent injury. It can easily be used with one hand. It is also light and easy to carry around. Ease of Maintenance Easy. You open up the dirty container, empty it into the trash, and resume cleaning. I find it extremely easy to maintain - even with all the pet hair. Suction Performance Like I stated in the summary, this is the best vacuum, hands-down, that we have ever owned. I will never purchase another vacuum again. Do not let the price on this one fool you! Versatility I have not found any area yet it cannot clean well on carpeting. It does lose suction a little on harder surfaces, though. Design This is a very light product to carry around. I love the minimal design. It does exactly what vacuums should do and with a lot less bulk!! Durability So far, so good. We have had no problems with this product yet, and we are going on one year.
