Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum Review

We have two dogs, a cat, and a bird.  Thus, I have a tough job trying to keep my home free of pet hair & dander.  Do NOT buy this vacuum unless you really want to see what's hiding out in your carpet fibers.  I was AMAZED when I saw how much was collected in the compartment you dump out.  I did a pretty thorough vacuuming the first time I used it, and it I'm embarrassed to say the compartment was completely filled before I was done!!  And I vacuum regularly too, it's not like it had been awhile!

And I'm proud to say I put this badboy together myself.  There really wasn't much to it, and trust me when I tell you, I am NOT a handy person!  There were just a few sections to snap together and screw in.  I had it assembled in about ten minutes.

The great thing about this vacuum is the Pet Hair Lifter feature.  It works like a lint brush, grabbing pet hair when the vacuum is pulled back and then it's suctioned up when pushed forward.  Really amazing.  It also comes with a pet contour tool that pulls out dirt and hair from hard to reach areas.  And another great attachment is the pet TurboBrush.  It works great on beds, furniture, and curtains.  But be careful, this thing has some serious suction power!  It comes with a HEPA Filter that captures 99.9% of pet dander, dust mites, pollens and ragweeds.  We are a family with allergies, so this is really an important feature for us.

I got this vacuum at Target for around $ 150.00.  I know, that's kind of pricey, but believe me...it's worth it!  I got a FREE $ 20.00 Target giftcard just for buying this particular model, so I used that towards other items I was picking up at the time.

If you have pets, I promise you will LOVE this vacuum!
