I love my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser. Maneuverability This little powerhouse is so easy to handle. It's very lightweight and has a good long cord for moving about the furniture. Ease of Maintenance The attachments snap on and off very easily. The filter has a push button release to easily dump the canister and clean the filter. Suction Performance I rescue cats so I have a lot of kitty hair from the ones that love to lay on the back of the sofa and look out the window. This Bissell Pet Hair Eraser has an attachment that grabs the hair right up out of the threads in the sofa. When you remove the attachment, it has an oval suction tube to easily clean up litter tracks and spilled food. Versatility This little vacuum can do everything the big one does except you use it on furniture and it's handheld and not pushed around the floor. I love that I can clean up spilled litter and quickly snap on the attachment and go right into cleaning the furniture. It's very easy to handle and carry from room to room. Storage is a breeze and the way the handle is made, you can easily hang it up if you wanted to. Design I like everything about this vacuum, but would like to see an improvement on the filter itself. It's a little difficult to clean and seems like it will need to be replaced quite often. I haven't had mine long enough to really comment on that part yet, but that was the impression I got when I cleaned it out. Durability It appears to be a pretty sturdy little vacuum. My only concerns would be, again, the filter. Especially since it's made to clean up pet hair. Cat hair is very fine so keeping the filter clean is going to be a chore. If the hair clogs in between the suction nozzle and the filter, I'm not sure how it will be able to be cleaned out. There are no hoses, so that's a big plus because with my Cyclone, the hose gets jammed up with pet hair and I have to completely dismantle it to clean it out. (Real pain in the neck).

I have a Siamese that is constantly shedding since I have moved to Florida, so I went out the purchased the Bissel Pet Hair Eraser Corded Hand Vacuum to try and keep the mess to a minimum. Let's say right off that it is definitely annoying that it is corded, but that is okay with me because of how well this product picks up pet hair. I have dark furniture, so the cat hair really shows up. This little hand held vacuum picks up the cat hair after one swipe and I do not have to spend a lot of time cleaning up. I used to try and use a tape roller, but this little guy makes it so much easier for me! I am so glad that I purchased it! It was not too expensive and it does need emptied, but not excessively so. If something happened to this one, I would purchase another, definitely. It is a product that I would recommend if you have a pet with hair that sticks to furniture. This little vacuum was a lifesaver for me.

Not only is the dog hair completely gone but the ease of using this vacuum is astonishing. It is very light and easy to maneuver into the tighter spaces and the suction is powerful enough to even suck up the hair that is in the cracks of the couch. The only drawback for me was the cord. I wish I would have spent the extra money to buy the cordless but in all reality I am somewhat happy that I did not because I am a very forgetful person and it would never be charged. Maneuverability very compact and very convenient it is a very easy machine to use. Ease of Maintenance I really like how easy it is to remove the container and empty it. It saves a lot of time not having to fight with that thing. Suction Performance The performance here is fantastic. This vacuum is even able to get the cracks and corners with ease. Versatility It really only has one function. To suck up the mess. However it does do that one function really well but I do not know what else it would be used for. Design Very stylish and very easy to use. The handle placement is very nice and does not make this a difficult machine to use. Durability My two year old decided that he wanted to try and suck up the dog and he banged it around quite a bit. This vacuum with held the beating and worked fine afterwards.

I got this little Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Corded Hand Vacuum for my sister, because she has two dogs and is constantly battling pet hair. She had mentioned to me in conversation, one day, that she didn't like her current hand-held vacuum because it was not very effective and had to be charged constantly. I thought this little vacuum would be the perfect solution, and it was. I have used it myself on several occasions, to help her out around the house, and the way it picks up hair off the couch is magical. It is very gentle while it cleans, though, so furniture, upholstery, carpeting and so on are never damaged. I like the cord because it means that it's always ready to use and just naturally more powerful, but I will admit that it does make maneuvering it around from room to room a little more inconvenient than its cordless counterpart. Still, I think it is a great value and a good little tool for daily cleanup.

So my third vacuum of my home is this little guy which is used for my carpeted stairs. I have owned this for about three months now and absolutely love it! I use it twice a week to vacuum the stairs and have not tried it on my furniture. I would highly recommend this product as it does one fantastic job. There are two headings that come with this product and I usually stick with the hard plastic one so that I can get good suction in the little sides of the steps. My only issue is that the cord is a little short so I find myself plugging it in upstairs and then going downstairs to plug it in and finishing the rest. It's very powerful and I would choose this over a battery operated type hand vacuum any day! Ease of Maintenance This machine is really easy to clean out and I often do this after each vacuum to avoid build up. The cat hairs though can sometimes be tricky to pull out. I use sticky tape to retrieve those.

I love this little vaccuum. We have a cat and man does he shed! We've use this vacuum numerous times to clean up the huge clumps of hair he leaves around. That's even without the pet hair attachment! It has a very long cord to get where ever you'd need to go. It is a little loud though, I think it could scare some pets. I know Cookie (our cat) is afraid of it. When you turn it on, sometimes I feel like it will hover across the floor haha. It is easy to pop off the top and clean out the pet hair and go back to work. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because of the noise it makes. Other than that it's the perfect little vacuum for us. With the pet attachment on, it does a decent job (not saying perfect) to get the cat hair off of our furniture and whatnot.

Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Handheld Vacuum is an extremely powerful and effective handheld vacuum. I originally purchased this vacuum for small jobs around the house, such as cleaning up hair in the bathroom and cleaning crumbs off of the counters. It is very effective at tackling these small messes, with its powerful suction and interchangeable heads. I appreciate that the cord is fairly long, and gives enough slack that I don't mind that it isn't handheld. Although we do not have a pet, I can see how it would work wonders on pet hair in the home. Overall, I'm extremely glad I purchased this powerful little machine.

My husband and I received this as a wedding shower gift and I was excited at first because we didn't have a hand vac at the time and I was excited about gifts in general but now, a year and a half later, it's not too thrilling. The pink thing at the end just seems more of a hindrance than anything. And it has a CORD! What type of hand vac has a cord? It is incredibly inconvenient because I wanted a hand vac to clean the car(s), stairs in the home, etc. but it doesn't make much sense if it has to be plugged in. I may as well just use our stand-up vac while it's on and use the attachment piece because it's easier to hold than this hand vac. This vac DOES suck up everything but it isn't over the top amazing, in my opinion.

Love this, we have a dog and a cat and always had a problem with hair being left behind by regular vacuum.this picks it up so easily also works great on steps and furniture. The interchangeable heads are also great for cleaning a quick isolated mess. It is quite powerful as well but easy to handle at same time.

I have two cats, once which sheds constantly. I've been eyeing this product to replace a dirt devil handheld device. Its small and lightweight. I've tested it on hard surfaces and fabric with pretty good results. It's not frightening loud for my pets and easy to clean. Hairs get picked up but in some areas require a bit more attention. The prices is great but I would like an extension hose for hard to reach places. Don't have carpet so I can't attest to its performance but on basic couch fabrics and hard floors it does the job.
