Bissell Little Green Machine Vacuum —

I bought the Bissell Little Green Pro Heat TurboBrush for Pets last night after I dumped a whole plate of spaghetti on my beloved sofa and not so beloved carpet.  (I have a cat, a puppy, and a geriatric dog and figured this model would serve me well for future pet accidents).
My sofa is red and my crummy carpet is dark green, so I can't truthfully say whether it pulled the stains out or not.  I do know that I can no longer see where the spill spot was on either the sofa or the floor.  My main concern was sucking all of that wet mess out of the carpet, which it failed to do.  There was maybe a couple of tablespoons of moisture (very dirty, mind you) in the dirty collection tank, and the spot was still very damp when I was finally tired of going over the spot with the vacuum hose over and over (as the instruction booklet suggests under "troubleshooting: poor suction")  I even removed the brush attachment and pressed the open end of the hose against my hand and there was barely a pull.
The "TurboBrush" attachment fails to rotate once you've placed it against a surface; I found the regular 3" attachment and some elbow grease much more effective.
I intend to return this product.  I think some regular carpet/upholstery cleaner (409 or whatever) and a wet/dry shopvac (2 things I already have) would have worked just as well for cleaning the stain and much better for pulling out the moisture.
