UGH, wish I had listened to reviews I had read on the target website before I had bought this product..I purchased it expecting it to do just what it said it would. This vacuum has to be the absolute worst product I have purchased.

I purchased the Bissell Lift Off Revolution 2 vacuum because I have 4 cats, and liked the idea of the lift-off feature for vacuuming upholstry. I only owned it for 24 hours before I returned it to Lowe's. It is the worst design ever. I will detail my nightmarish experience below; one could write a horror movie about this piece of machinery....

1) The hepa filter and air vent are in the back, and the exhaust blows on you as you vacuum, so that after 15 minutes I was literally having sweat roll off my forehead. (I'm 5'5" and weigh 125)

I JUST BOUGHT THIS VACUUM LAST WEEK AND I CAN'T BELEIVE HOW IT PICKS UP THE PET HAIR. IT ALSO CLEANS HARD WOOD FLOORS SO I DON'T HAVE TO SWEEP ANYMORE. IT IS A GREAT VACUUM. I BOUGHT IT AT LINENS AND THINGS FOR A GREAT PRICE. DON'T FORGET TO USE THERE 20% OFF COUPON AND SAVE EVEN MORE.

THe Bissell Liftoff Revolution Pet Vacuum, I have heard that it is a awesome Vacuum cleaner. And it picks up pet hair like a dream and ease. I don`t have Pet Vacuum myself, But I do have a Bissell and totally love it is the bomb.But I love to clean So I find stuff like vacuums cleaners are fun. Sounds strange I know. Though I love my Bissell. So if you are a clean freak like me then this is the product for you.

 I'm on my second Bissell Pet Vac in 6 months and I'm waiting for Bissell to send me a third.  The first one worked for about a month.  I took it back when it stopped sucking crumbs from the carpet.  Thankfully I could exchange it at the store.  Last weekend, just two hours before my company was to arrive, my vacuum stopped working. The brush stopped rotating so I turned it off to see what was wrong and it wouldn't turn on after that.  I waited a day and it turned back on but there was no suction and when the brush stopped rotating again I turned it off and tried to turn it on but it won't... review »

It's horrible! The belt is always coming off! I have to put the belt on again every-time I use the thing! So annoying!! It's also really heavy but It does pick up pet hair well and it comes with neat extras! I bought it because I have dogs and cats and it worked really well for a month or so and now it is so annoying to have to stop cleaning and fix the stupid thing! I would't recommend it.

We had purchased a Bissell 37601 Lift Off w/ detachable canister (an earlier model / very similar looking) two years ago. Recently the belt broke, we replaced it, and the bottom brush would stop spinning when hitting the carpet. It stopped picking up dirt because of this. The top canister still worked...

We had a 4 year warranty so we returned the vacuum to the store. We decided to buy the "upgraded" version. Bissell Lift Off Revolution. When we got it home, I tried using this vacuum. I was gifted the Bissel Lift Off as a hand-me-down from my brother's family, and it was Okay at first. It was 6 months old and the bristles for the carpet were stringy. We have it now for over a year and it's starting to lose suction, and we DO clean it like every 2 months because it DOES lose suction so quickly. The dirt canister also fills up pretty quickly. I have a german shep/husky mix and this thing MISSES pet hair on a regular basis. Good value for price.  You can see all the  pet hairs and dirt when you empty out the collection chamber.  Bagless, althugh filters are a bit expensive, they don't have to be replaced often.

The Bissell Vacuum gets the job done!

The Bissell Lift Off Revolution Pet Vacuum is a great value.  It works hard and has good suction.  We had a dog for two of the years that we had this vacuum, and it works well to remove pet hair from carpet and upholstery.  

The lift-off feature is really handy for stairs and getting into tight spaces.  Also, cleaning this vacuum is easy as pie.  I clean the filter about every 2 weeks just by rinsing it out in the sink and letting it air dry.  I'd really recommend this vacuum for people who have carpeted floors and pets!

I purchased the vacuum because I needed an upright to complement my 25-year old Sears Kenmore canister vacuum when the heavy-duty power attachment died.  The Bissell is a piece of garbage.  First, it's heavy.  Second, in order to fully clean it, not only do I have to empty the cup, but I have to remove the bottom section of the vac (six screws) to disengage hair tangled in the rotating brush.  This is not occasionally; it is every time I use the vacuum.  In my lifetime I have never had to disassemble a vacuum after every use (1-2 times/week).  The final irony is that I have to use my...

Not what I hoped for.

I bought this vacuum on a recommendation from a woman in the aisle at the store, that had one and loved it. For me, it is too heavy, too wide, and I don't like the upholstery tool. Additionally,  the hand tool, that is for pet hair pick up, is pretty ineffective. It is fine for large open spaces, and cleans well, but is awful for around tighter spaces and furniture.  The lift off feature is nice for stairs, but I tend to fall back on my little hand vac which is easier and cleans just as well.  I don't forsee that I will keep this vacuum for a lot longer.

I have had this vacuum , the Bissell Lift Off Revolution Pet Vacuum,for about six months.  OMG!  It is just great.  We have two golden retrievers and a sheltie.  Lots of dog hair!  I vacuum everyday.  My husband wanted me to get another vacuum so we could use the old one (also a bissell) in the basement.  Now that I can see through the canister, I can't believe how much hair is in the vacuum everyday.   Its a mid priced vacuum but is worth it.

LOVE THIS! Bissell Pet Hair Lift Off. Had it about 6 months now....fantastic.  The Lift Off is great for the stairs and ceilings.  Pet hair works great.  VERY easy to take apart and clean

( I hate it when smells get caught in the hose and filters, so glad I can thoroughly clean them.)  No problems with clogging or loss of suction.
