Bissell LiftOff Revolution Pet Vacuum — 

I was gifted the Bissel Lift Off as a hand-me-down from my brother's family, and it was Okay at first. It was 6 months old and the bristles for the carpet were stringy. We have it now for over a year and it's starting to lose suction, and we DO clean it like every 2 months because it DOES lose suction so quickly. The dirt canister also fills up pretty quickly. I have a german shep/husky mix and this thing MISSES pet hair on a regular basis. I have to vacuum rooms twice, and sometimes three times before most of it is picked up. The lift off feature is nice, but it's bulky. The upholstery attachment was a waste of plastic (doesnt work). We have decided to trash this piece of crap and go with Consumer's Reports Best Buy: Eureka Boss. Wish us luck!
