All this vacuum does well is clog.

   I should have known when I saw how small the dirt compartment was on this vacuum--it is because it cloggs everything into the hose and it never makes it there. We have a dedicated wire coat hanger used just to unclog the Bissell. It never worked well and is still fairly new. My advice is to stay away from Bissell.
