Bisquick Original Pancake and Baking Mix Reviews

Typically I cook from scratch, but I do keep Bisquick on hand. Bisquick is a pre-mixed flour for baking. No need to worry with salt and baking powder or baking soda.

From what I understand, Bisquick was first made as a pancake base. The pancakes are good. The recipe is right on the side of the box. I think they're better than pancake mixes but not as good as my cousin Lynn's recipe that she gave me long ago.

Despite the fact that I make most everything from scratch, I have always had a box of Bisquick in my pantry, as far back as I can recall. As nearly every other reviewer has noted, it's perfect for quick, nourishing meals. My family loves beef stew with dumplings, or chicken and dumplings. Bisquick also makes such good biscuits they really do appear "made from scratch" (and taste that way as well.)

None of these "kudos" are really why I keep this product handy.

 It makes some of the best, light, crunchy fish or chicken batter you'll ever find.

I learned about the uses of Bisquick from my Mother! She always had it in the pantry!  There are many uses for this basic mix. It is also a great product to keep in the cupboard for the times when money is short. It has a long shelf life and a nice plate of Pancakes sure is tasty and filling!

Bisquick is so versitile, you can use it for 3 meals a day!   Make your day a bisquick day.  Need a quick meal, or spending the day at home with the kids, use it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bisquick Original Pancake and Baking Mix is great for making sausage balls and "Red Lobster" cheese bisquits in a few minutes. I use it for making several recipies and telling friends and family all about the results. I am not one who likes to cook at all so finding a product that is quick and easy is wonderful. I have Bisquik Original Pancake and Baking Mix in my pantry at all times. It is a definate staple in my house as I use it for so many different things. Bisquick is an awesome invention. I just made the impossible coconut pie and man was it good. I rarely use it for pancakes or biscuits, but it makes really good dumplings.

 I highly recommend this product if you're a new and beginning cook. The recipes on the box are awesome, and easy. If you want mor recipes, the web has tons of ideas and recipes to download and make. I love the impossible taco pie. I don't think anyone can ruin a meal using bisquick. Its a major staple in our family.

This mix makes the best tasting pancakes in the world.  Aunt Jemima, Hungry Jack and all the others have nothing on Bisquick.

It's also a great mix because it's so versatile - you can make virtually anything with Bisquick as part of the recipe.  I actually have a Bisquick cookbook at home and it's full of hundreds of great recipes.

I know Bisquick has been around forever but I just had to post this rave about it. I used to buy the frozen pancakes from the store to save time. To save money,I thought I would try this. The pancakes come out great. Any leftover batter,I just make a bunch of pancakes and freeze them. Microwave for about a minute and thirty seconds and they taste just as great. I get the big box at my local wholesale club for 3.99. A big money saver in this house.
