I constantly have people ask me where I get my high fashion clothing.  When I tell them that it is at JC Penney, they stare at me like I am speaking another language.  For some reason, years and years of budget clothing without much style has branded the minds of most of the people I talk to into thinking that JC Penney is for old ladies or something.

Since introducting the Bisou Bisou line of clothing quite a few years ago now, I have become a very happy customer at JC Penney.  I have designed clothing for years because I had a hard time finding high fashion clothing that fit me for a price I could afford.

BISOU BISOU has had many amazing high fashion designs for the urban minded fashionista at prices that are very affordable.

One of these things is the Summer White Crop Pants from BISOU BISOU

WHAT ARE THE CROP PANTS LIKE?

BISOU BISOU CROP pants are made from a fabric that is primarily cotton (68%) and spandex (3%)with a little bit of polyester (29%) to keep the wrinkles down.  The pants are lined with good thick lining- which is polyester.

The BISOU BISOU CROP pants sit just below the waistline and has no button loops.  However, a few tiny tucks in the back of the pants make them fit beautifully without a belt.

The CROP pants hit below the knee and have nice pleats to allow for a straight hanging leg, that opens up for walking.  This avoids the bell shaped bottoms of crop pants that I do not like.

The waist band is re-inforced so that it does not stretch out and allow the pants to fall down which was a problem with the BISOU BISOU shorts last year.

The pockets are shallow slash pockets, with a flap on the outside for decoration.  There are gold buttons on each flap with a matching gold button for closure.

The back of the pants have slash pockets, but they are so shallow that it is not worth opening the stitching that is put in there for shipping.

COMMENTS

I LOVE my BISOU BISOU CROP pants.  I have the matching jacket which is perfect for summer.  The pants are very flattering and slimming.  The fabric washes very well - cold water and hang dry- they come out almost wrinkle free.  The little raised stripes in the fabric give it a classy look.

I am long waisted so finding pants is often difficult, but these work very well for me.   The two back tucks in the waistband make the pants stay put when bending over which is very nice.  I also like the placement of the crotch seam- it is not irritating at all and is very comfortable.

WHERE TO BUY

You can see the BISOU BISOU CROP pants on JCP.com

Search for the item number RP823-3220D

You can also search under the name BISOU BISOU CROP

The retail price is $40 but they are often on sale for much less than that.
