I love my birks!
practical, looking for comfort, shoe lover

They are one of  the most comfortable sandles made. With three pair I practically live in them. Being a shoe lover I oughtta know. I was skeptical about them at first, I thought they were so ugly. But my cousin convinced me that they were really comfortable so I went to qvc.com and checked them out and got a pair. Been happy ever since. you can also find them at birkenstock.com

Birkenstock sandles are THE most comfortable shoe I've ever found.  I wear them year 'round including winter, when I wear heavier socks with them.  My feet are always comfortable, never hurt in them either.  They are good for people who get swollen feet because you can just move the strap looser or tighter depending on what your feet need.  I heard this story once that the President of Xerox PARC (Palo Alto Research Center) wears Birkenstocks - - with his three piece suit!!!  Now I know why!

The most comfortable shoes on earth

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.  I prefer to go barefoot, and these are the next best thing.  They can be rather pricey, although you can find specials that make them more economically prices.  I wear them year round, with socks in winter, and they are great.  As I said, the only detracting factor is the price.  If I could afford it, they would be the only shoes I ever wore.

They may not be pretty but they are awfully comfortable.

I love my Birkies and have dozens of pairs.  They are perfect year round with everything I wear and come in evey imaginable color. They're fun to wear and are great back and leg savers. I really hate the times that I have to put on a pair of real dress shoes and stand around being miserable.

I have purchased my birkenstock from QVC 5 months ago and I am loving it!! It so comfortable and feels like you are not wearing any sandals. I wore my birkie's everyday when I was pregnant because it gives good support on my feet. I am now ended up with 4 pairs in my closet.

Birkenstocks are the best shoes.  They are so comfortable, that even with back and knee problems I can be comfortable all day....

Okay, I am a high school teacher.  All the students wear birks, so did some of the clerical staff.  So I tried.  I understood the whole, wear them a few hours for the first few times, until they fit your foot.  However, birks never worked for me.  I even convinced my husband to buy a pair based on the rave reviews of those who wore birks.  Let me tell you, it didn't work for him either.  I must be the only person in the world who threw away a pair of birks after just one year of trying my best to get them to be comfortable.  My hubby is not as patient, after only two months of trying to...
