Birkenstock sandles are THE most comfortable shoe I've ever found.  I wear them year 'round including winter, when I wear heavier socks with them.  My feet are always comfortable, never hurt in them either.  They are good for people who get swollen feet because you can just move the strap looser or tighter depending on what your feet need.  I heard this story once that the President of Xerox PARC (Palo Alto Research Center) wears Birkenstocks - - with his three piece suit!!!  Now I know… read full review »
