These sandals beat any pair of Croc's hands down.  People have actually stopped me on the street becasue either they wanted to know where I got them or they have a pair themselves and we both raved aobut how much we love them.  They are stylish, yet durable.  Totally waterproof yet don't look too sporty.  Not "hippie" looking like most Birkenstock's.  Mine have lasted me years and have traveled with me across 3 continenets all for under $40!
