Biotene Mouthwash with Calcium —

If you're one of the "tender flowers" who has burned the heck out of your mouth with alcohol-intensive mouthwashes, then try Biotene' for some moderate dry-mouth relief and a good, painless swish of your gums.
With this mouthwash, you can actually make all those facial contortions and move the clear non-alcoholic fluid around your mouth for 30 seconds.  The addition of calcium and healthy enzymes couldn't hurt either.
My dental hygienist cringed at the condition of my gums on our last visit.  Now the bleeding has stopped and the redness receded.  While I'm not convinced by Biotene's companion tooth paste (check out my grumpy review on that one if you wish), I am convinced that Biotene's mouthwash works in my favor.
Ah, good...  I no longer need to waste time in the mouthwash department.

Actually my mistake. Hubby used TJs toothpaste but it has SLS. Tom's of Maine recently came out with an SLF free toothpaste in flavors and it's excellent. It is also a dry mouth soother. In fact I reviewed it http://www.viewpoints.com/Toms-of-Maine-Natural-Clean-and-Gentle-SLS-Free-Anti-Cavity-Plus-Dry-Mouth-Soother-review-b6486 though I now have the lemon lime flavor. Jo

I wish I had had this last week. Got my flu shot and for some reason (perhaps unconnected) I promptly developed the first "gum boil" I've had since we lived in that old house in St. Charles on Cedar Street! It's gone now (the gum boil) and thank God, no infection but we have to be careful about our gums!

In response to Jo's comment from Nov 2, 2008 at 5:28PM:

Does TJ's have its own toothpaste or is it the Tom's of Maine. I'm definitely in the market for something new and effective.
