I am a Hairstylist, this shampoo is great for dry damaged hair, if your hair is fine or thinning i wouldn't recommend this product it will weigh down your hair and make your hair very greasy looking....so i would say if your hair is dry and damaged this is the product for you...

I have tried a number of different hair serums and this one comes out on top! Most are too heavy or don't have a pleasant scent which is important to me. The first time I tried Biosilk my search for just the right one was over! There are quite a few things that I love about this product. It smells fantastic! I like to use it only on the ends of my hair because if you use too much it can make hair look a little greasy which is never good. But otherwise I love it. The product itself doesn't feel greasy. It doesn't weigh my hair down like some other serums I have tried. Just go easy on the application and you should be okay. When I'm finished with my hair I like to rub it into my hands too, it is great for moisturizing hands and even elbows! I would recommend this product to anyone with hair that is prone to frizz in humidity or just has a bit too much volume. It really keeps hair under control and tames my frizzy hair!

This shampoo makes my hair really soft!! (just as it says!) It leaves my hair feeling silky smooth and soft, but I have very thin hair, so after a day of using this, I find that my hair is very greasy and oily. Another downfall of this shampoo is that it seems to be pricey, and I cannot afford that always. I can't compare it to other shampoos, but that might just be because of my hair type. I say do some research on hair type before buying a good shampoo, as my hair is very thin and seems to become oily very quick. This does do a nice job of controlling the frizz (while it may be little since my hair is so thin), and that is definitely an advantage of it!!! I would recommend this to people who have a little bit thicker hair (definitely more on the frizzier type!) and less on the thinner side. I don't even know why I tried this because of my hair type but overall I would definitely recommend it!

I love this product! I was first introduced to Biosilk years and years ago when my hairstylist reccommended it. I hardly ever pay attention to what hairdressers like since i know it's their job just to sell me stuff i don't need and they are also very fickle and change their minds all the time. but for some reason I truested my hairdresser at the time and picked up a bottle of their leave-in silk treatment. I loved it SO much that I went right back and purchased the shampoo and conditioner to go with it! I have used it (off and on) ever since ! whenever I do use it, it makes my hair so silky smooth I just want to touch it all day. I play with my hair a lot anyway, and when I use BioSilk, that amount doubles. It just feels so nice. I feel that it is healthy too....wouldn't that be right, if your hair feels nice and healthy, then that means it is, right? This can be a little expensive but who cares it is worth it!!!!!!!!!

This stuff is expensive, im not going to lie (hence the four stars instead of five), but it's worth every penny if you truly want silky hair. It's available at most retailers these days, not just as beauty salons so i pick up a bottle every month or so when i fill up on other household necessities. This is an absolute must have in my house since i first tried it. I was given a small trial size bottle at a salon where i used to get my hair cut and it's incredible! It makes my hair feel so luxurious and soft, i don't need to use conditioner, all i need is this product for wonderful feeling hair. My hair doesn't get into tangles anymore and being as long as it is, that used to happen frequently before I started using Biosilk. I also love how it tames any strays and my hair isn't the least bit frizzy, even during the winter when there's a lot of static in the air. I definitely recommend this to all my friends and once they try it, they agree that it really is like silk in a bottle!

I was introduced to Biosilk about 9 years ago by a hairdresser that used to do my hair. All I wanted was soft and silky hair and sure enough this has been one of my go to products ever since, I always have to have some at home. I may not use it every day since it is so expensive but no matter what product I use I have to have this cause I always come back to it like if I am trying another product after a week I always go back to biosilk so I will remember exactly why I love this so much. It is not real heavy, not as light of a feel like the Moroccan oil is but it works in a different way, this you don't need very much and it is best applied when you hair is wet that way it will absorb the product while it dries and once it is dry it is so soft. I can forget to use it with the kids or whatnot and then by the time my hair is dry and I am styling it I can feel a huge difference when I don't use it.

Biosilk silk hair therapy is perfect for my long thick hair. I really do love everything about this product. First, the smell is great and it never leaves my hair greasy or flat, which is my favorite part. Also, a little goes a long way so small bottles last a while. When I straighten my hair I use this to protect my hair from the damage that blow drying and straigtening frequently causes my hair. It makes my hair shiney and controls fly away and prevents static. When I don't want to dry my hair all the way or to just leave it wavy I just run a small amount thru my hair and it again controls all frizz and fly aways. It is a little more expensive, but you can buy it in grocery stores and I have even bought it at TjMaxx. You can also buy the travel size and it lasts a long time since it only takes a little dot to cover my extremely long hair. There is really nothing bad that I can say about this product.

This shampoo smells great, and very strong as all Biosilk products do. The newer Biosilk products like this one smell much stronger and defined than the older Biosilk products. It comes out clear.  When it lathers, it is rich and smooth.  It feels very moisturizing.  However, it usually takes me two shampoos to feel like it is really washing my hair at all.  My hair isn't left feeling any softer than usual when I am done with the shampoo.  But it does leave my hair with a nice smell afterwards.  Especially when paired with the Silk Therapy conditioner.  I like knowing that I am putting silk proteins in my hair, and I trust the Biosilk name brand.  I feel that I am really treating myself when I use this shampoo, because at least to me, it is considered a more expensive shampoo.  I worry that it is just masking the damage in my hair rather than restoring it.  But maybe it is protecting it some.  Overall I do enjoy the scent and lather of the shampoo once I can get it going.

Biosilk silk thrapy shampoo was a miracle for my hair.  I recently bleeched my hair blond after having it black for about 6 months.  My hair frizzed out really bad from the harsh chemicles of the bleech.  When i started using Biosilk shampoo my hair took a drastick change imediately.  For instance, before I was putting handfulls and handfulls of conditioner in my hair, because of how dry it was.  Now all I need is a small amount of conditionerr after using the Biosilk Shampoo.  As a matter of fact my hair shines so much that people I fjust met asked me how i got my hair so shiney.  They even asked if the bleech blond color was my natural color, because they had never sean anyone with such shiney hair after it had been bleeched.  I replied "no! It was Biosilk silk therapy shampoo!"  I am so satisfied with my results that I recomend this shampoo to all of my friends and anyone who compliments me on my hair.

I've been using Farourk Biosilk Silk Therapy for years and hands down, its one of the best products on the market. This stuff really does what it says it does. I have color treated hair and live in a very humid beach climate, Myrtle Beach, SC, where the humidity can reach a 100%. And we all know what humidity does to one's hair, especialiy color treated hair, yeah, makes you look like a chia pet. I use this product religiously and if they ever stopped making it, I don't know what I'd do, probably either never leave the house or have a really enormous hat collection. Farourk Biosilk Silk Therapy smooths the cuticle base of my hair, making my hair shine and feel like glass. And it keeps working all day long, even on rainy days. I wish all the products I use were this reliable. This company really knows hair and this product is the holy grail to a gorgeous,smooth,silky,shiney mane. As a matter of fact, I reccommend all the products from their line and when used together, can product a salon quality look at a fraction of the cost. Yeah, that's right, it not only the bomb, its affordable,too. And we all know how important that is in today's economy.
