I have used these strips many times, and still can't come to a conclusion whether I like them or not.  — Sometimes they seem to work, and other times they don't seem to work at all. — Some other people have said that it hurts to use them.  I've never had it hurt.  When the strip dries it can be uncomfortable because it's stiff, but then you pull it off.  Maybe if you had dry skin and were pulling off your skin, but otherwise I don't see why they'd hurt. — I usually use the nose strips, and haven't seen any real difference.  Even when I don't feel… read full review »

I've tried these strips and several others like them.  I've never seen anything that they did. I often think I'm using them wrong because I have trouble getting them to stick properly and frankly I wanna seem some proof that they're getting rid of gunk in more pores. I have one of those skin types with a nose pores that are always clogged with some kind of gunk, makeup, oil, dirt, whatever.  Even after using Biore strips, there is inevitably still some gunk trapped inside my nose pores.  But I do think it's worthwhile to clean out or "extract" that gunk every so often.  Extraction is sometimes done by squeezing the pores, but I would recommend instead using a Biore strip to accomplish that purpose.  Squeezing is usually damaging to the skin, and Biore accomplishes the same purpose, so I would… read full review »

I've tried Biore pore strips time and time again and I'm generally left feeling pretty 'blah' about them.  The original strips leave about as much gunk as they pick up and I usually only buy them on a whim. — The ultra deep cleansing strips are a different story though - they actually seem to pick up more of the gunk and leave my nose looking much better. I love these pore strips and use them often.  I have found that they do indeed remove my blackheads but sometimes they are more effective than other times.  I find it best to exfoliate and to make sure your face is very wet when applying.  I have used them on different parts of my face and find they work best on my nose, forehead, and cheeks.  I can't get them to work very well on my chin and that is disappointing because I do have lots of blackheads there.  I also think they cost too much so am not giving 5 stars.  In my experience they are just as effective as… read full review »

I had not tried the Biore pore cleaning strips in a while. I picked up the Ultra deep cleansing pore strips and was pleasantly surprised. I did not find it uncomfortable or have any problems with my skin afterwards. But oh my God, the yuck that it cleaned out. The strip was disgusting when it came of my nose, it looked like it was covered in small hairs. I did it a second time right after and just a little came out. I seriously love these little miracle pore strips, they work wonders!! You wet your nose and one side of the strip, then you place it directly on your nose, the right way. Then you wait a little while until the strip is completley dry & stiff. Once its ready. grab a part of the strip on the side and slowley peal the it off. Then hold it up to the light to see all the black heads extracted from your nose. I have used these nifty little strips for awhile.  I never used to have a problem with them - until I changed skin care lotions/potions.  Now my skin is much more sensitive and let me tell you that peeling the paper machae strip off when it is crusty dry is painful!  It still pulls off the gunk from the pores, as well as what feels like half my nose! — I do like using them on other face parts that are not as sensitive!  Still they are great too show you how dirty your pores can really be! —… read full review »

I don't think I would buy this product again. First off, it takes forever to dry. Then after you wait for it to dry, then you get to rip it off. And you can't just do it quickly, like a bandaid, you have to prolong the pain by doing it slowly just so it can work properly. I like quick and easy ways to clean my face and this is just not one of them. I was wary when I first tried this cause a whole bunch of my friends tried it and found it didn't work for them. But one day I saw it on sale at a local drug store and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did cause it works so unbelievably well! Really did get those tough blackheads out with minimal work.
