I wasted my money on Bio Spot and used it to treat a flea infestation. I have cats, dogs, ferrets, and a rabit. I used Bio Spot on the dogs and cats and then bought and used home and yard treatments. I used the Bio Spot for two months, along with flea bombs and sprays for the home and yard sprays. The Bio Spot didn't work AT ALL! Since the Bio Spot didn't work, I ended up having to bomb the house and yard more often, as well. Obviously, you can't just treat the animals without treating the home and yard but if your animals' treatment is ineffective, your other topical treatments are doomed, as well. I thought I was saving money by using Bio Spot, but I ended up spending more than $400 over two months just trying to correct the impact of the fleas after Bio Spot's failure. I had to invest not just in repeated yard and home treatments, but also in topical treatments for the bloody messes due to constant scratching AFTER the Bio Spot was applied! If you have a flea problem, Bio Spot will not help you. Trust me on this one. I called Bio Spot and did EVERYTHING that they told me to do, all without success. You're better off investing in a more expensive product at the outset than trying to correct Bio Spot's failures. Again, you will have to invest in yard and home treatments no matter which product you use, but you should only have to treat the home and yard once if your animals' treatments are successful. If you can't afford to use an effective treatment for your animals, you're better off treating the home and yard and then just washing your animals with flea shampoos regularly until you CAN afford an effective flea treatment for your animals. Don't waste your time or money on Bio Spot. It will cost you much more in the long run than you ever imagined.
