A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity was a book that my parents gave the in-laws as a Christmas gift.
(Back Story)
My in-laws and my parents are ultimately the same people, just in different bodies. They share the same political views, religious beliefs, and basic everyday likes and dislikes. Ultimately though, had I not married my husband, they would have never met.

read full review »As an avid listener of books on tape, I've adopted several favorites when it comes to narrators. Sometimes the biggest mistake an author can make is when he or she decides to narrate their own work. Narrating books is a true art and books can lose or gain stars simply because of the ability of the narrator. That wasn't a problem with A Bold Fresh Piece of Reality. You wouldn't want to hear anyone but O'Reilly narrate this work. O'Reilly even sounds a little bit like George Carlin in this one. read full review »This book "Bold , Fresh picie of Humanity" is about Bill O' Reilly's childhood in Levittown,New York, but many things he did in his school and neighborhood are typical of many people's childhoods, at least before parents had to constantly worry about their kids being abused if they stayed from home playing. Maybe I can relate to it well because I went to Catholic school, but I thought the funniest part is when he talks about a friend, Clement and him wreaking havoc on a school outing to see the movie "song of Bernadette, in 1961 or 62?
