As a habitual coffee drinker I didn't think there was any other hot beverage worthy of my time or money. I needed something to wake me every morning and keep me mobile for the entire day. My coffee cup reads, "No Coffee No Workee"! I had to face the fact that I was completely addicted to the evil but delicious bean!
For my birthday a dear friend gave me a gift set of two beautiful multi colored mugs and a package of Big Train Chai - Vanilla Chai! I thanked her but couldn't understand why she would waste her money knowing that I was a hopeless coffee snob. I put the gift in my cupboard with the intention of "re-gifting" it later. A few weeks later I got the flu. For the first time in my adult life the smell of coffee made me nauseous. I had to stop drinking coffee for two weeks. While looking for something else to drink I found the gift of Chai Tea and out of desperation thought, "Let me try it how bad can it be?"
I opened the resealable bag and the soothing aroma of Chai engulfed me before I spooned it into the cup. A comforting blend of spices in Big Train Chai - Vanilla Chai was an unanticipated surprise. The flavor of chai and vanilla is well balanced, delightful dance to the palate. Big Train Chai - Vanilla Chai was delicious! I was hooked. As I rinsed the beautifully designed gift cup I noticed a second surprise. Written on the inside rim read the words, "Drink Chai, Embrace Life." I haven't completely given up coffee however I now find myself slowing my pace to enjoy a cup of Big Train Chai - Vanilla Chai. It truly feels like a warm vanilla hug!
