Since I reached my thirties my hair has started thinning and in the past year it has started to become very visible that my hair is thin. I had to do something about this problem so I've tried a number of so called thickening sprays and volume shampoos. These products helped a little but not enough to wear I felt like this is a great product until I bought Big Sexy Volumizing Hairspray. Luckily I found this very expensive hairspray on sale and bought it. It creates visible volume without making my hair look crunchy and stiff looking. I flip my hair over, spray all over, and flip my hair back over and wow the volume is there! I took advantage of a sale and bought a variety of Big Sexy Products and it's a shame that it's so expensive. This is the only downside. This hairspray is the best for everyday use, for giving my hair a much needed lift. I highly recommend this product to those of you who have thinning hair and are tired of seeing part of your scalp in your hairstyle. It won't solve the problem but certainly helps with the symptom and gives the illusion of full thick hair. I think when I run out I will save and continue to use this product because it works that well!

I would definitely recommend this Big sexy hairspray to other people, but I just didn't feel that it was for me. I have very fine hair and I'm always looking for a way to get some volume. My hair is always flat and just limp all the time. I can not really get away with teasing it because my hair is just so dang thin that it is really obvious that it's teased. I was hoping that this hairspray would help with my situation. I dried my hair upside down, incorporating some lift to it and then sprayed with this hairspray. I guess I was expecting a light hair spray like a touchable finish but that's not the case. My hair felt and looked stiff and very sprayed. I think it might just be due to the fact that I pretty much have no hair! If another consumer with thicker hair tried to use this product, I feel like they would get satisfactory results. For me however, it just wasn't the right product.

I bought a mini travel size version of this one, because I needed a travel size hairspray and two, because I wanted to try this hairspray. So, I decided to kill two birds with one stone:) First of all, the nozzle is a little larger than most of the hairsprays that I own. So far, it hasn't been a liability or an advantage, it has just been that way. Second, it has a pretty classic hairspray scent which I actually kind of like so that wasn't so bad. The hold the hairspray has itself is actually not bad, which surprised me a little, I'm honestly not sure why. It is not crispy, doesn't turn white, doesn't flake off, none of that stuff. Basically, it is a pretty nice hairspray. The only thing is that it doesn't last incredibly long as it will wear off after about 4 hours so that's when this travel sized one comes handy. Overall, this hairspray maybe doesn't deserve all the hype that it has but it certainly deserves something as it is a pretty decent hairspray.

I am a young lady that loves to add volume to my hair on a daily basis. I also love extra volume for special occasions. My biggest problem with volumized hair is the damage that over teasing can cause because you do not want your hair to lay flat after a few hours, as well as the amount of hair spray one must use to keep hair volumized throughout the day. I've tried multiple types of hair sprays, hoping that I would be able to find one that lasted an entire day. I have not had much luck until I stumble upon this beauty. Now, i realize that is more expensive than most other brands, but it truly does the job. Second to this product, if you are looking for a cheaper route, I would try aussie volume hair spray or bed heads volume hair spray. Neither of these have the all day holding power that this hair spray has. I do not have to tease my hair as much to obtain the height that I want. Just so you know, I am not an 80's hair height queen, I just like a little volume in the crown. I have been known to rock big hair on a night on the town though. It works for both!

I used this a while ago when a friend who does my hair used it. I absolutely loved it. The product is great for my hair which is really heavy, thick, and curly. It holds the curl well and also helps keep the volume in place. The hair spray is not sticky which is really nice. I have had some that are really sticky and don't feel nice when you touch your hair. It doesn't have that crunchy feel either when in your hair. Don't you hate when you have one of those kinds of hairsprays!? This feels really natural and there would be no reason to be concerned if someone else touched your hair! The bottle is pretty big so it will last you quite a while. Which is good since you are paying a little bit more for this product. The price may be higher but it is definitely worth it. They also have a collection of products for curly hair girls as well that works great. I find that even though this is not made for curly hair, it works just as well and I didn't have any problems with it.

I usually don't use any gel nor hairspray on my hair, but this big sexy hair volumizing hairspray is amazing.This product is absolutely tremendous! Gives you the best results ever! Both me and my girlfriend tried it out and we both had amazing results!

I love Big Sexy Hair Volumizing hair spray! It has such a flexible hold and really allows for my hair to be big without feeling heavy or weighed down. I spray mine to the base of my hair when I tease it and I get excellent volumizing results from doing so. This hairspray also works great with my blow dryer and heat activating this spray makes the hold even better. I don't use this hairspray as a finishing spray, but I like to use it when I am done curling and at the roots just to give my hair that extra boost. This hairspray is pretty strong smelling, but not as bad as some. I love that it comes in a big can and I always feel like I am getting a great deal for my money, especially because I don't have to use a whole lot and bottle lasts me quiet awhile. This hairspray doesn't dry out my hair and I have noticed that it washes right out with shampoo and water. I don't have to fight with my hair to get it to come out and it doesn't feel sticky either. I would recommend this to people with thick long hair and even those with thin hair looking for volume.

When I used to live in atlanta, I received this hairspray as a gift. My mom bought it from a store during the holiday season when they usually put these on sale and put it in my stocking for Christmas. I don't use hairspray a whole lot so when I used it for the first time I was like wow this stuff works! I have the straightest hair of anyone you would ever meet, so when I curl my hair it NEVER stays. When I curled my hair and used this hairspray, it didn't even move! I have never been able to keep curl in my hair like that. What was even more funny is that my husband likes to primp almost as much if not more often than I do. Once when we ran out at the house, he said, "Hey babe where is the big red hairspray? I need that stuff for my hair?" I let him know that was expensive so I went out and bought a cheap kind of hairspray that he said didn't work work a darn. In the end I had to end up re-buying this hairspray, and it really is worth every penny!!

This hair spray does live up to its name. I have straight, hard to curl hair but this keeps my curls in for a pretty long time. It doesn't leave my hair really sticky like the rest of my hairsprays. I recommend this for people with straight hair trying to find a better hairspray!

I don't like hairspray because it is smelly, sticky , stiff etc. This hairspray isn't. It's so good I have 2 cans on hand. It leaves your hair soft yet holds it in place. Get in a windstorm and it goes back where you put it. My niece has long long curly hair. She tried it and went to sleep when she woke up she gave her hair a shake was still looking good and not like a rats nest.
