I have super thick hair that is almost impossible to do anything with. It doesn't matter how many layers I get cut into it,I could never find a product that met all my standards while giving me the big hair I desired so badly. One time, a stylist used this bigsexy stuff and I was amazed at the volume I had! She explained to me that my issue was that all other products are just to heavy and my hair can't hold it on top of being so thick. This stuff is light weight and does the job. I just give my hair a little tease and one little spray of this and I have big,voluminous hair that stays all day. It smells pretty good too and it's not too strong which is a plus. Downfall is that this stuff is pretty expensive and bottles are kind of skinny. But it does last all day an there's no need to use a lot of this product or reapply throughout the day. That makes it last longer so I'm not buying a can too often.

I've been struggling most of my life to get hair with lots of volume. Even a little volume would be nice.  Recently I got a new haircut with more layers and started using Root Pump Plus and I've finally been able to achieve the style and volume that I want.  It's not all Root Pump Plus, but rather a combination of style and product that's done the job.  I've used Root Pump Plus in the past and didn't have the same result so it's definitely the combo of cut and product. When I changed my style a few months ago, my new stylist used this product on my hair and showed me exactly how to use it. Turns out I was focusing too much product on my scalp and not enough on the actual first inch or so of my hair. Making sure to concentrate on that area of my roots has made all the difference. Root Pump Plus comes in a big can that's way too big for travel (especially airline travel) but I recently found a smaller can at Beauty First for travel.  Unlike other mousses, this one is not dispensed like whipped cream, but almost like a mini fire hydrant, and directly onto the hair.  Because of this, it can be messy.  I find that when I apply it to the back of my head, I'm somehow getting it all over my left upper arm, so I've learned to apply the product in the shower, or to wear a robe when applying to keep my clothes clean. I apply Root Pump Plus to damp hair that's been air drying for 5-10 minutes.  I usually put on my makeup for those few minutes, then apply the mousse to just the roots (I don't distribute it to any other part of my hair) and blow dry using a round brush and the medium setting on my hair dryer, focusing on the roots.  Using this technique whilst pulling the hair straight up results in tons of lift at the root while leaving the length shiny.  I've found that when I use Root Pump Plus on the length of my hair that it looks and feels dull and doesn't really do much for my length.  That said, this product does make my roots feel kind of icky, as if I haven't washed my hair in a few days.  If you're going have someone passionately running his hands thru your hair, you might want to try a different product as it might feel kind of gross. All in all, I really like Root Pump Plus and I'm glad I've figured out how to use it properly to achieve the style I want. Deducted one star in the overall rating as it can be quite messy and I'm not crazy about the scent.

Sexy Hair Big Humidity Resistant Volumizing Spray Mousse works and works great. This styling product is one of the best there is. The only con is that it is not found everywhere. But it works so well that I feel I have to have it during the summer. But like I said, good luck in finding it. You might evenn have to resort to having to order it online. I like using it because I know my hair will be held ever how I want it to be and that it will be natural looking. In the South, it is rare to see a southern woman in the heat of summer especially not to use a lot of hairspray. But with this product, one doesn't have to do that. I am very serious. This product really works. Oh, I hav said that? Well, it was worth repeating because it's just that good. I am sure you can purchase it online, although I have not looked. It is getting harder for me to find it now, and I have to buy it on a business trip as I can't find it here anywhere.

Big Sexy Hair Big Humidity Resistant Volumizing Spray Mousse, Root Pump Plus is a wonderful product.  I have thin, fine, limp, color-treated ugly hair.  I tried a number of stylists.  One lady was kind enough to recommend this product.  Now, normally I do not buy product at the salon.  But I made an exception for this.  I forget why.  But I am glad.  This spray mouse is the best I have ever used.  I shake it, spray it right around the crown of my head at all the layers of hair.  Then I work it through a little bit and blow dry my hair dry.  It gives a bit of lift around the crown which fools the eye into believing I have decently full hair.  The humidity resistant version of the mousse is great for summertime and in rainy or snowy weather.  I use this product everytime I blow dry my hair (3-4 times per week) and the large 10.6 ounce bottle has lasted a really long time.  My only complaint is the bottle is really big for travelling to the gym or on vacation.

i have big hair and it works it holds how ever style you want. ive had it since 6 grade and now im in college it has worked just as good as when i first got it. it lasts all day and you dont need to reapply every few house, it smells really good and it keeps your hair smelling good. its not too expensive but you can find it in salons but you can also find it at ross and tjmax for cheaper then retail price. salons use this product on the clients because it does good results. its for all hair types and it doesnt leave your hair feeling stiff and it will give you big sexy hair. it is good when you use for school but now i mainly use it for special events. and if you fall asleep with it on in the morning your hair does not tangle in the spray or get all nappy. this is a really good brand and i recommend this to anyone who wants big sexy hair i have recommented this to a friend who had thinning hair and it made her hair look really full .

So on those nights out where I want to go on the town with my girlfriends I always turn to this product! Big hair is sexy hair and this certianly does the trick. I can be out on the town eatting dinner, going to the clubs, and dancing the night away and my hair stays perfect! Especially since this is humidity resistant! I think this is over all the best part of this product, my hair is curly so it frizz's instantly in the humid weather and when I use this on those nights my hair can make it through an entire night with no frizz. I say looking hot in the hot weather! I reccomend this to anyone who has curly hair or thick hair or any hair! It truely is a life save and it's one of my favorites! It's not heavy but it still gives you that great volume your looking for without getting sticky. It works! I admit, it's a bit expensive but it's worth it. I'd spend a million on a product that 100% works and this does it!

I purchased a bottle of the Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Spray Mousse from my local salon after my stylist sampled it on me when she styled my hair after my cut. I was a little hesitant at the higher price point, but she talked about how much her clients and friends love the product and that it sounded like a great product for my hair. I straighten my hair every day and then tease my volume areas to add some needed volumne to my roots. I keep trying to use this product, but honestly I am not seeing a huge difference from using it? I don't know if I'm not applying it correclty, but it seems like it should be fool-proof. I do like how the spray nozzle works and gives you quick, direct application to the root of your hair. It's a very cooling feeling going to your roots. I would expect the mousse to either help my backcombing routine or supplement it completely, but I haven't seen that type of result to this point. I want to continue trying this product, but might ask my stylist more questions about it at my next appointment.

I love the smell but it drys my hair out so bad. I have 3/4 of a bottle in my cabinet collecting dust. My hair dresser told me she would not recogmend it because of the damage it does to her clinets hair. I ask her now before I try any pricy new hair products. My hair is baby fine and thin, if it makes a difference.

I have used this product for at least a year and I love it.  This mousse is very light weight but holds your hair all day.  It gives your hair wonderful volume without weighing it down.  One thing I really like about this mousse is that it doesn't feel sticky like some mousses do.  I wear my hair both straight and curly and this product will work great with either style I choose.  Of course, as with all Big and Sexy hair products, this product is a little more expensive than some other store products.  Another thing is that it is harder to find it at some retail stores.  One can of mousse does seem to last for a while though.  This mousse helps hold your hair without it being frizzy especially if you use it with one of the Big and Sexy hair hairsprays which are wonderful as well.  This mousse also has a fresh and clean scent.  The Big and Sexy hair company makes two different types of mousses and this is probably my favorite out of the two.  I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Around the Holidays, we always try to look our best.  Whether it be when you're out shopping for those Christmas gifts, or when you're having a gathering with your friends or family, we all want to be on our top game.  So when my friend showed up with gorgeous curls that look shiny and sleek, I just had to know what she used!  That's when she surprised me with this as a gift last year for Christmas.  I must say, it is an excellent mousse that holds well and stays in the entire day!  I usually find it really hard to control my frizz and naturally curly hair, but this takes all my worries away.  It doesn't weigh down my hair and make it heavy, nor does it make it sticky like most gels or hairsprays do.  It keeps that natural feel that I love and still gives it that shiny finishing touch that makes my hair irresitible (in my opinion anyways!)  I'd highly suggest giving this mousse a try, even if it is a little more on the expensive side because it is definitely worth every penny!
