I use several kinds of shampoo and this is one of my top 3. I love the way it smells and it definitely adds volume. Price-wise, it's the middle of the road. It's not cheap but not expensive either. Definitely worth a few extra bucks.

The Big Sexy Hair line is one of my favorites. It is a bit pricier than the drug store brands, but not nearly as expensive as some salon brands nor as expensive as the price that is quoted when you pull up the review. I have a lot of fine hair with a slight wave. If left to dry by itself it just hangs. The Volumizing Shampoo delivers a nice shampooing experience. It pours out of the bottle easily, but not sloppily, lathers nicely and rinses cleanly without leaving my hair feeling stripped. I like the scent. It is fresh, but not overwhelming. Shampoo stays in the hair for a very short time and I do use other volumizing styling products, but I think the shampoo is a good start. I used it just before I wrote this review. My hair is shiny, has movement and has a really pleasant scent without being overpowering. There was no frizz after blow drying and my hair does feel thicker. This shampoo will be a regular in my rotation

I purchased this on one of my regular beauty online purchase "shopping trips." I have used many products from the Big Sexy Hair line, so I figured why not?! Although it smells great, I did not notice a difference. My hair is very thick to begin with, so I believe that may be the issue. I would try it before curling my hair to see if it would give me that extra volume needed for a great look! I did notice my hair did feel better and stronger while using this product. I know many who have had great results with this product. I believe because my hair is already so thick, I didn't achieve the desired and expected results. Effectiveness This product did not work on my hair type. I have thick hair, but I would recommend those with thin hair to at least try it, although it is pricy. I have heard many friends rave about this product! Scent Smells incredible and lasts! If it wasn't so expensive, I would purchase just for the scent!

I had not heard a lot about Big Sexy Hair products before trying out this shampoo. I figured it was a fad brand or it was targeted at a certain audience (like teeny boppers), so when I bought this I wasn't expecting too much. I got this on sale and it was still more than I like to spend on a product that I'm just trying and not one that I am loyal too. But it was worth the money. Big Sexy Hair lives up to the name (at least as far as the "Big" goes). My hair had a ridiculous amount of volume after using this product. I'm not sure how it does it unless it has magic molecules infused into the formula. The smell was okay. It wasn't really floral, or fruity like I have come to expect from shampoos. It was just a nice clean, fresh scent. I would recommend this to any one that has fine hair, or any one that simply just wants to add some more life and bounce to their hair. If you already have thick hair that has volume than prepare to have that mane a little unmanageable, but one you tame it you will be thanking this product!

I have very long, fine, straight hair. No matter how I try to style my hair, it falls flat. So, I don't fight that and just wear it straight. However, I do want to have as much bounce and body as I can. Most products that add volume I have used, have left my hair sticky or greasy looking. Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Shampoo and products make my hair fuller without weighing it down or making it feel dirty. I do not use this exclusively but when I am going out or want my hair to look really nice I use this. It's a great shampoo. It's not the least expensive product out there but it is worth the couple extra bucks because it is an excellent volumizer. Effectiveness This is a great volumizing shampoo. It cleanses well and leaves my hair soft and silky with added volume and bounce. When using this my hair feels and looks thicker. I like to use this in conjunction with the Big Sexy Hair conditioner and hair spray. Together they give my hair a natural looking boost. Scent I like the way this smells. It smells fresh and clean.

All I wanted was a huge ponytail. The party was supposed to be an 80's party. I'm old enough to remember the hours I spent fixing my hair for school every day with a blow dryer, a hair curler, and the biggest bottle of hairspray you could buy at the drugstore. I wasn't really wanting to spend hours with my head upside down, spraying so much that every surface of the bathroom would have to be scrubbed to get rid of the dried on mist. This is where Big Sexy Hair Hair Volumizing Shampoo came in. I had heard good reviews so I made a special trip to go and buy a bottle of this. I picked it up early, making sure to have a couple of weeks to let the shampoo do its magic. By the time the day of the party rolled around, my hair was just about perfect. It had so much body and volume that I only had to use a quarter of the bottle of hair spray once I started doing my hair and that was just all on making the bangs stand high and proud. I would recommend this product if you need volume. It smells great. I had no problems with buildup. It seemed to make my hair so much more fluffy and full. It really worked for me. I continue to use this product now when I know that I have a date coming up because really, who doesn't like having big, sexy hair without having to spend hours with a blow dryer and hair spray?

I use this shampoo every other day to get the volume I love! My hair is fine and limp but when I use Big Sexy Hair Hair Volumizing Shampoo, I get amazing volume and bounce! I am this product's biggest fan! I carry it with my when I travel and take it with me to use at the gym after my vigorous workouts. It is a bit more expensive than many other drugstore brands, but the results are worth the extra cost! Effectiveness Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Shampoo makes my hair full of volume, bounce and shine! I love it! I never use hot rollers or a curling iron when I wash my hair with Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Shampoo because it provides your hair with a ton of volume and fullness. Scent The scent is very fresh and clean! It has flowery tones and subtle hints of musk in the scent. It permeates the hair with the wonderful fragrance and lasts throughout the day. I would rate this scent as the best of all of the shampoo scents that I have ever tried!

I was excited to try Big Sexy Hair Hair Volumizing Shampoo when I heard about the product. I have long hair that is fine and tends to lay flat when I'd always love more body and volume. This shampoo did the trick immediately! I loved the results of added fullness and body from first use. It was amazing to see my usually limp locks looking so full and luxurious. In the too good to be true aspect, I did notice that after continued use my hair began to feel dry and brittle, when it has always been shiny and silky. This was a disappointment. I now use this product occasionally when I want an extra boost because I know it will delivery from first use, but I follow up on subsequent washes with an intensive moisturizing shampoo to restore my hairs smooth and silky luster. As an occasional product, this shampoo stands up to its name and really provides the results promised. I wish I could use it every day without experiencing the drying effects.

I have pretty straight hair without a lot of volume and was looking for a product to help pump it up! A friend recommended Big Sexy Volumizing Shampoo so I gave it a shot...Love it! Definitely did add volume to my hair and loads of it. My straight boring hair actually has a little wave and a lot of body! It's hard to believe but true. I did find it slightly drying, but that's to be expected from volume shampoos and I do keep a hydrating shampoo on hand. Also it didn't make my scalp itch like crazy or feel greasy the next day as has happened with some other shampoos. Plus it smells yummy and is moderately priced! Effectiveness It have my hair more body than I ever expected with a very sexy beach wave look and I love it! I could love without the extra dryness since my hair is color treated and I use curling irons and a blow dryer already but I have a great hydrating shampoo I switch to when needed. Scent It's smells fabulous! Not too heavy but fresh and feminine!

I recently purchased this shampoo in hopes to adding it to my shampoo rotation. I have long thick frizzy hair, so I was concerned that this may give my hair too much volume with my hair already being thick as it is. I purchased this at my local drugstore and I absolutely loved it. It gave my hair a smooth, sleek look while give it extra volume just in the right spots. Overall, this product worked great and I have added it to my collection of shampoos that I love. Effectiveness It really gave the top of my hair and the bottom of my layers volume. It gave it a lush-ish movement to it. It did not dry my hair out or make it look greasy at the roots (which I have a problem with some doing this). It really worked great. Scent Scent is a big factor to me whether I will continue to use a shampoo or not. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and products can easily give me a headache. This had a strong smell when first using it but it smelled great! The smell faded as my hair dried, yet you could still smell a nice subtle perfume-ish smell.
