This root pump is a great product. I use it everyday on any client that wants volume either just at the root or through out their whole head without a sticky hard hold. This product is nice because you can direct it where you want it because it is a spray mousse, as well as you aren't getting your hands all gunky. The trick with using this product is you must blow dry the hair away from the scalp, otherwise you may not get the style you are looking for.

I am one of those unfortunate girls who has alot of hair, but it's very fine, so it doesn't have much body or life to it, and it just doesn't look like much. I was also not so blessed with a cowlick right in the back of my head that is hard to get covered up, as my hair likes to split right there. It's embarrassing. As a new mom, I've just been throwing my hair in a ponytail or a braid and heading off to work. I haven't had my hair done in years so after splurging on a cute haircut and a personalized introduction how to use a root lifter, I was on my way to good hair days! **Big Sexy Hair Root Pump PLUS** is a spray mousse that is humidity-resistant that creates volume to fine hair by strengthening hair from the root. It's been advertised that it adjusts the hair's pH balance and blocks moisture to give hair lift while keeping it healthy and strong... and I've found that to be true with my experience using this product. I tend to be on the oily side, so I wash my hair everyday. I find that there's no damage from the use of this product after constant use. (Though I don't use a ton of product per application either.) But remember, it's best when used as directed. I've heard from people who didn't like this product and it's probably because they didn't have the right hair type or used it incorrectly. I would recommend this to anyone like me with fine hair who wants a little lift. (I found this product cheaper on-line than I did at the hair salon... next time I'll know better where to purchase hair products!)

This is my absolute favorite hair product. My mom introduced me too it a couple of years ago and I have used it ever since. I have flat but thick hair. I have always had a hard time getting volume where I want it. This product allows you to have volume from the scalp. It makes it easy to tease and control. It has a pleasing smell also. The only thing that I would say is a con about this product is that it is expensive. But if you are looking for quality hair products you are going to have to pay good money for them. I look for quality when I shopw and I have found a good quality product in Big Sexy Hair Big Root Pump. I would, and already have, recommended this to my friends and they have all come back with great reviews. If you are looking for the nest this is it. I will never change and also recommend the hair spray that Big Sexy Hair Makes too. That is also my favorite. Great product!

I have pretty long thick hair and most of the volumizing products I have tried did not do much because of the weight of my hair. I was so excited to find the Big Sexy Hair Big Root Pump because it actually works. I could not believe my eyes the first time I used it. I get so many compliments each time I use it about how much body my hair has. I also try to use products that will not leave build up on my hair and this product is very clean. Smells great with nice packaging and though it is a little on the expensive side I would rather pay for something that works like it says it will than pay for something that does not work at all. I think it is worth the cost and a little goes a long way so you can really make it last. I added the other products in the line once I fell in love with this one and I think they work even better when used together. If you can only get one though this is the one to get.

My hairdresser recommended a new product, but I picked this up on a great sale and thought I'd give it a try. Love the results. Doesn't make your hair sticky and there's no odor. Really pumped up the volume on my average straight hair. Great lift at the roots- where I need it, and not a bad price.

I am generally very cost concious, but when I find a product that works, and I mean really works, I am willing to pay more. This has been the case with tthe Big Sexy Root Pump. My hair is very fine. It usually falls flat by mid morning, but I have seen a major difference since using Big Sexy Root Pump. This product is only applied right at the root or scalp of the head unlike mousses and other products that I have tried that are designed to give the hair lift and body. This product gives my hair more body, more volume, and more lift than anything I have tried. It also has a great smell that makes me feel like I just walked out of the salon. It also doesn't take but a small amount to give my hair the results I desire. It does cost a good bit more than most other products I have used before, but the can lasts so long that I don't think I am actually spending that much more in the the end. Big Sexy products are sold mostly in salons, although I have seen it in a few drugstores. I would definitely recommend this product who wants big, full of volume hair.

I bought the Sexy Hair Big Root Pump from Beauty Brands because my stylist recommended it to me after I had my hair cut. I tried it a couple days later and was not pleased with the results at all. I followed the directions exactly and my hair was still flat. This product only made my hair greasy and tangled in the back. I tried it again a couple days later and used less spray but received the same result. I took the can to my stylist and asked her to style it for me because I was sure I did it wrong. I have used Big Sexy Hair products for a couple of years now and have never had such a problem with one. She tried to pump up my hair and it **still** did not work for my hair. I think if your hair is naturally flat, and I mean 100% flat, like mine, this might not give the best results. I find that blow drying my hair with my head upside down gives me the most volume. I would recommend this product to a friend if they don't have naturally flat hair.

I tried this  **Big Sexy Hair Root Pump** the other day after washing my hair. Because my hair is fine, and somewhat  flat at the roots, I'm always seeking products that provide some volume and lift in that area. This Root Pump promised  maximum lift at the roots while using a blow dryer. I rarely use a blow dryer on my hair, so the need for one, while using this product, was a little daunting. Since this **Root Spray is used for lifting hair volume**, while **concentrating on the hair roots** specifically, and **mid hair shaft**, *and* **while using a blow dryer**, I was a little intimidated. I was never very good at using blow dryers and achieving any kind of styles with them. I'm actually quite uncoordinated with a blow dryer. But, for volume and lift, I was willing to become a fast learner. **Big Sexy Hair Root Pump** attracted me for its relative ease of use. You just spray a little on your roots, it then turns into a mousse, and that's it. It sprays on initially like a hairspray, but, then quickly turns white and foamy like a traditional mousse in a few seconds---cool technology at work!  Now, you turn on the volume by blow drying the roots, while concentrating on lifting the hair from the scalp as you dry it. **It's easiest to do while standing with your hair upside down**. I just **use my fingers to lift my hair from my scalp**, while letting the blow dryer do the rest. As your hair dries, you can see your hair volume beginning to amplify.  If you use this on your hair ends though, your hair will feel a little "crunchy". **It's really made for lift at the roots**, primarily. Well, be prepared, because **you're going to get volume**--really big volume. And, it could be a little dramatic in how much volume you receive. My hair looked really full, maybe too full for my petite face. My hair texture was also nice and smooth, yet slightly firm. You only need a small spray from this aeresol can of Big Sexy Hair to get some major volume. I bought this Root Pump at some hair salon which I've long since forgotten. I've seen it everywhere, though. This is a pretty powerful  volumizer  though you do have to work a little to get that volume and body. Since you need just a tad on your roots, this Big Sexy Hair Root Pump will last you a pretty long time. And, **you do need a blow dryer** to achieve that lift and volume to your hair roots. **Application**:  Shake can well before using.  For lift,** spray into damp hair** at the scalp and mid shaft areas. **Blow dry** hair away from scalp. It also comes with the general warnings for using this product around heat because its flammable, and not to smoke, or puncture this can because the contents are under pressure. **My Opinion**:  I bought this **Big Sexy Hair Root Pump** not quite knowing what to expect from this aerosol product. It achieved some major volume, with texture, for my hair. I think that I was surprised at how much volume I actually received from this product. So, it does give you a lot of fullness, but, you're  going to have to use a blow dryer and work with your hair, to achieve that big volume look. I think that  I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this product.
