I watched big love when HBO premiered the first episode back in 2006. I was immediately hooked and forced my husband to subscribe the the HBO service at least until the season was over.
Even if you don't agree with polygamy, you will be immediately hooked and drawn to these characters and the plot of the show. If the characters don't hook you, then the whole story of the compound, "Juniper Creek" will catch your attention and you will be horrified to catch a dramatic glimpse on how what old school polygamy is really like.
With a producer like Tom Hanks and a veteran actor like Bill Paxton - you really can't go wrong!
