Big Love Review

Bill Paxton plays Bill Hendrickson, a man with a lot on his plate. Three families to be exact. In addition to running his business and trying to outsmart a crazy prophet, Bill must be a devoted family man to each and every one of his three wives and the children he sired with each.

In addition, Bill must keep the outside world from discovering that he practices polygamy. The series shows the trials and tribulations of each of his families and how they try to reconcile their limited time with Bill. The wives alternate between being loving 'sisters' and firce rivals for Bill's time and affection.

'Big Love' is surprisingly interesting and the acting is good. Ultimately, it's the story of a different kind of family and the struggles their alternate lifestyle brings.
