This toilet seat was for Mom.  After numerous replacement seats, we stumbled accross this seat which is built to last forever.  It claims to be able to hold up to 1,200 pounds.

Installing it was not too difficult. and the hardware is extra sturdy.  However, the seat is Huge!  Not at all dainty or feminine looking, and definitely not for small spaces.  The seat also looks very utilitarian, not at all stylish.

The seat is extra sturdy and is easy to sit on and get up from.  Unfortunately Mom's developed cracks in the inner front and on one side.  Ordering the replacement was no hassle.  the seat has a lifetime guarantee.  However, by the time the replacement came, Mom had gotten used to the new one we got her while waiting.  Now she doesn't want the big one in her bathroom again.

I would recommend this seat for anyone who wants a comfortable seat, but would hesitate to do so for anyone wanting a classy looking bathroom.
