Big Brother 9 Review

I don't watch a lot of t.v.  In fact, there are only two or three shows I ever watch.  Big Brother is one that I NEVER miss!  I have seen every season since the show started.  I don't know what it is, I just like to see how people interact with each other.

The basis of the show is they throw 16 houseguests into one house together.  There is no t.v., no radio, absolutely nothing for them to do but interact with each other.  They pick people from different backgrounds, different races, different religions, different sexual preferences, and just let them go at it.  Each week someone is voted out of the house by the other houseguests.  The last person in the house wins something like 1/2 a million dollars.  (I'm not sure of the amount)

Big Brother also has a different twist, almost every season.  One year they had twin sisters in the house, but they posed as the same girl.  One of them was always behind the scenes and they would switch back & forth without the other players knowing.  Another year they had one person playing for America, which is where all the t.v. viewers would tell him what to do & how to vote.  (no one in the house knew what he was doing)  It's always a little different.

I'd say that, in general, Big Brother does a good job of mixing it up every season and keeping things different.  This season individuals were paired up as couples and they had to compete together.  I wasn't crazy about this concept, but still watch the show faithfully.
