Beverly Hills 90210 - The Complete First Season

Aaron Spelling called his series "mind candy" and he was right! I grew up without cable, so I never saw the wonder that is Bevery Hills 90210 until college. By then Donna was no longer a virign, bitchy Brenda was long-gone, and David Silver was hot!!

I missed their history. I wanted the high school days, proms, summers and lots of Luke Perry. After years of being angry everytime a new series was put on DVD (Golden Girls? Seriously?) my dream came true. The dvd reads "See How the Phenomenon Began!" and I did. In two days. I absorbed their adolesence and the Walsh's introduction into their new zip code. Who knew Kelly's mom was a cokehead, that Brandon crushed on a girl testifying for a murder trial and that Brenda "almost" had breast cancer? Awww....just like my high school days.

For $60 it's a bargain to have this slice of campy history. Now I'm off to get Season Two to find out what that crazy Steve Sanders is up to.
