Betty Crocker Warm Delights Molten Chocolate Cake —

It's the weekend and in the Bard's household that means some sort of decadent high calorie, high fat desert!  I prefer chocolate chips cookies, but occasional I like to indulge in freshly made grocery-store chocolate cake slices; yummy!  But one cannot always make it to the grocery store to indulge my chocolate cravings; that is where Betty Crocker's Warm Delights (cheaply) steps into the picture.  The one serving cake confection comes in several different flavors, mine happens to be Molten Chocolate Cake and it is just what the desert doctor ordered.

My Viewpoint

I am pleased with my choice for this weekend's chocolate dessert.  I had a warm piece of chocolate cake topped by fudge and it was yummy.  The cake was moist and bursting with chocolate flavor and the warm fudge melted in the mouth and on the tongue like heaven. Add a scoop of ice cream, no matter the flavor, and heaven times two!

Preparing Betty Crocker's Warm Delights Molten Chocolate Cake is simple and easy to prepare!!  Just add water to the small package cake mix in the included disposable plastic bowl and mix well.  Kneed the included fudge package 10 times, tear open and squeeze on top, then pop the mixture in the microwave oven for 1:15.  After the cake is finished cooking let stand for 5 minutes and enjoy.  That's all there is to it.

I highly recommend Betty Crocker Warm Delights Molten Chocolate Cake; for $1.79 a package they are a bargain compared to the $2.59 I would have to pay at the local Dominick's grocery store.  Are Betty Crocker Warm Delights as good as a comparable freshly prepared or bakery snack cake?  Yes, good enough I say and well portioned with some 370 calories, and 12 grams of fat.

Hold thy head not in shame, but be a proud Chocoholic! I am!

Hello my name is _______and I'm a chocoholic! I got a small free sample in the mail. I've since moved on the the regular sized cake. I went so far as to add slice fresh strawberries on top before squeezing on the fudge. As I hang my head in chocolate induced shame I admit I'm addicted to this product! Great review! It leaves you wanting more!

Anna, not a problem I do not mind at all! :-) Link away.

Hi! I hope you don't mind but I have linked your Molten Chocolate Cake to my own review about Haagen Daz Coffee Frozen Yogurt. I thought these two products would really match each other perfectly in a dessert and besides that great review of yours deserves the second look it will get if they click on the link in my own review. I've done this before with other people's reviews and it seemed to be okay with them but I always ask and if you don't want the link, I can take it out. Have a nice day and say "Hi" to Pam and Persia for me.

YUMMY! What a great review! I wonder if this comes in a version with caramel sauce on top?

12 grams of fat really isn't bad for chocolate cake. Real cake has triple that. I may even indulge in one of these. You made it sound too good to pass up!
