We always have these in our house!

My husband has quite the sweet tooth, so much so that he requests some form of dessert every night. I usually end up whipping a batch of brownies or cookies to satisfy his craving, but the problem is two days later, they are usually gone. I usually end up caving in to eating a brownie, or three, so it totally ruins my diet. I decided to try the Betty Crocker Warm Delights Mini's Molten Caramel Cake one day when I didn't feel like putting the effort in to the daily dessert. The first time, I had one and it was delicious! They are very easy to prepare and taste great! I wouldn't say they are the equivalent to getting a molten cake out at a restaurant but they are very good for a packaged good. The great part about these mini molten cakes is that I can prepare them for my husband, without making a whole batch that I will devour as well! They're great for curbing that sweet tooth as well!

Sponge cake.

While I would consider Betty Crocker one of my favorite Mixes, this one sidelined me just a little bit. It was incredibly easy to make. It was done in literally a couple minutes. Excellent for a super quick mini dessert on demand. And, incredibly cheap. I also love that it comes in it's own bowl, that leaves me with much less mess to clean up. As far as the cake goes, I thought it was a more spongy texture than I normally like in a cake. It was really good for the price paid. It lacked the moisture that I was looking for but, the hot caramel made up for whatever it lacked. overall, it was good, not great. I would eat it again. every once in a while.

These are so good!

I love the Betty Crocker Warm Delights! They taste so great. The flavor reminds me of the Chili's molten lava cake. All you have to do is mix some water into the little bowls and microwave them and in minutes you have a great tasting little cake! The caramel sauce is perfect in texture and taste, which is surprising for a microwave treat. I will buy these whenever I'm in the mood for a chocolate cake but don't have the time to make one!

Delicious

This product made by Betty Crocker is very delicious yet still weight smart. If you are someone who watches their weight or is counting calories, then this is a treat you should try. These little caramel cakes are to die for. They are finger and bowl licking good. The only thing is their size. They are a little on the small side but hey, they are for people watching weight.

Yummy and Easy

Very Yummy and easy to make. I love the fact that they are not very big, because it helps make it easier to not eat too many. The flavour was great, much like most other Betty Crocker products. Plus, the small size means I can eat it quickly without the kids noticing.

Much ado about not much!

In spite of the glowing reports which I had read and heard about ***Betty Crocker Warm Delights*** desserts, I had virtuously resisted temptation.  The walls of Jericho came down with a crash the other day when I received a free sample of ***Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis*** in the mail.  The flavor I received was ***Molten Chocolate Cake***.  I had high hopes -- and after all, it was free -- so I finally caved and fixed the gol-darned thing according to package directions.  About two things, the manufacturer has been truthful -- this cake was warm and delicious and it was easy to make.  What they didn't mention is that it resulted in such a pathetically small excuse for a dessert that -- even though it was a free sample -- I feel like I didn't get my money's worth.  I have never seen such a cheap paltry cake, consisting of really only three or four small bites.  I'm not sure what the price is in the stores where these minis are sold two to a package.  I do know that if there had been a second mini in the package I would have eaten it and still been hungry after consuming 300 calories.  Something like this could be especially treacherous to a real chocoholic whose taste would have been aroused by the delicious fudge flavor and might have ended up trying to eat anything chocolate from one end of the house to the other, including Baker's chocolate chips that somehow never ended up being used to make cookies. **STATS:** One of these mini rascals is considered to be a single serving containing an amazing 150 calories with 40 calories from fat.  There are 4.5 grams Total Fat, 2 grams Saturated Fat, 0.5 gram Trans Fat, zero Cholesterol, 180 mg. Sodium, 25 grams Total Carbs, one gram Fiber, 15 grams Sugars, and 2 grams Protein.  Someone has even thrown in 4% (D.V.) Calcium and 6% Iron.  Wasn't that thoughtful of them! **TASTE TIP:** Whatever you do, here is one investment you should avoid: actually paying for ***Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis*** in any flavor.  However, I realize that it may be too late.  Maybe you have purchased this in good faith already or perhaps have received your own free sample.  Fortunately, I had anticipated the dainty dimensions of this dessert and was ready with a secondary fall-back plan which may work for you too.  Dominick's had had beautiful [fresh blueberries][1] on sale for only .99 a pint last week and I had stocked up.  So I heaped berries on top of the molten chocolate mini-cake as it was cooling, then spritzed a little Reddi-Whip Light Whipped Cream on top.  Whatever calories this might have added were redeemed by the dynamite nutrients the berries were packing and pumped up the satisfaction factor to where I didn't need to snack on anything else later in the evening.  Altogether it tasted delicious and was probably far better for me than eating a seond mini-cake would have been (or those Baker's chocolate chips which are fortunately still lurking untouched somewhere in the back of my fridge).         [1]: http://www.viewpoints.com/Fresh-Michigan-Blueberries-review-f2b03

Easy little desert

4

With a husband that travels a lot it is hard to make any desert when there is no one around to help eat it up, and when I do I usually have to take the rest to work for my co-workers which they do love. But, sometimes you just want something quick and easy and no mess and the Betty Crocker Warm Delights Mini's molten Caramel Cake fits just that bill. Thirty seconds and you have desert. No mess, no clean up, and these little deserts are delicious. Just the right size for one person, and they are so delcious. I really like the Molten Caramel Cake because I love caramel. The caramel is so warm and gooey just the way it should be. Do be careful not to over microwave these little guys it can ruin them.

Betty Crocker Warm Delights Mini's Molten Caramel Cake

Betty Crocker Warm Delights Mini's Molten Caramel Cake is great way to treat yourself after a long day or just because. All you need is a microwave and some water and you are good to go -- this mini treat is perfect with a scoop of your favorite ice cream on top - and at 150 calories you don't have to feel guilty. Just measure your water, mix - squeeze your caramel on top and microwave. It's the perfect size to satisfy your sweet tooth. I love making them - you can have your mini cake and you don't have to do many dishes or have a big chocolate cake staring you down the rest of the week.  They come in a 2 pack and I think are more convienient than the regular size Warm Delights cakes (which are almost 400 calories each). They also come in flavors other than caramel: Decadent Dark Chocolate and Molten Chocolate Cake. This Betty Crocker treat doesn't fail in the taste department either - it was great. If you don't like it -  all of the Betty Crocker products contain the Red Spoon Promise - it is their way of assuring you that the product purchased is of the best quality - contact customer service at 1-800-754-3516

convient way to satisfy your sweet tooth

As someone who has a huge sweet tooth but wants to exercise portion control the Betty Crocker Warm Delights are perfect. The warm delights come in their own little plastic bowl. All you have to do is add the required amount of water, stir and drizzle the fudge or caramel on top. Microwave for 30 seconds or more and you have a wonderful, satisfying, not to mention convenient cake-like dessert. These are great on their own but for a more extravegent dessert you can add whipped topping, nuts, or your favorite icecream. Not only are these great for us busy parents that want a quick treat they are great for the kiddos too. Our family loves the Molten Caramel topped with whipped topping and some chopped nuts. Each Molten Caramel Mini Delight has a mere 150 calories. A lot better than the 500 or so calories you would consume if you were to eat an actual slice of cake. The only downfall I see is the price. You could buy a box of cake mix for less than what a two pack of the mini delights costs.

Warm Delights are a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Warm Delights are great. They taste great and are quick and easy to make. It's nice when my sweet tooth takes over not to have to worry about eating too many brownies. I only eat the bowl I make and don't feel guilty for overeating later. They are a little costly considering you only get 2 servings but there are always coupons in the Sunday paper which helps on cost.
