The Verdict: I'll have another, please! I love these brownies and the convenience and portion control factor.
About Warm Delights Brownie: This product is basically a single serving of a freshly-baked, hot brownie. It comes as a dry mix that you just add a few teaspoons of water to in the bowl provided and mix briefly with a spoon. The fudge, which is in a little foil packet, is drizzled over the top and then the whole thing gets nuked for about a minute. The result is a single serving of hot, fudgy brownies.
My experience: I first tried these after getting a coupon in my Sunday paper and have been hooked ever since. If I make a big pan of brownies I'm likely to eat the whole thing within 2 days or so with our without the help of my husband. It's just too tempting to have all those brownies around and if they do happen to last for more than 2 days they get all hard and dried out. Warm Delights brownies allow me to make a single brownie serving that comes out of the microwave in just one minute and I can enjoy it every time while it's still fresh and hot. No eating the whole pan, no eating stale brownies 2 days later or throwing them out for the birds. They taste really good and are slightly lighter than brownies made with oil and eggs and baked in the oven. Oh and tha'ts another nice thing; if I get a craving for a chocolatey brownie in the middle of summer I can just pop one of these in the microwave for one minute and not have to heat up the whole kitchen by turning on the oven.
Final thoughts: While Warm Delights are more expensive than making a whole pan of brownies, they are worth it for the convenience and freshness factors and the single serving bowls keep me from eating more than I should.
