I love to bake, but sometimes I need a little help from a boxed mixed when I am pressed for time.  I was thrilled to find Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies on the store shelf, because the picture of the cookies on the box looked amazing, however I did not get those exact results.  The mix is easy to use with a few ingredients from your kitchen and is a great blend of oats and chocolate chips.  These cookies bake in about 20 minutes, but they came out really flat and crisp.  They didn't have the fresh oatmeal taste I was expecting.  These cookies are good, but do taste like they are from a box, but also have a sweet flavor of chocolate.  Each serving is about 110 calories.  These are great for when you don't have much time and need to bake, but they definitely don't taste homemade.  They do have a great aroma and are great for serving for a light dessert.

This cookie mix does not come in a BOX, it comes in an envelope.
