Betty Crocker Lemon Bars —

OK, it's Christmas time and I am in a pinch.  I thought I had two weeks until Christmas and boy, oh heck, darn it all and OH POOP...it's a week away...I normally make goodie bags for my co-workers with all homemade items but so far i have the  homemade candy done and and a few other goodies, but not enough (I like to pack these goodie bags)..I don't have the time this year, but I still want to give some good treats and I am getting a little help from Betty Crocker with her Lemon Bars with Sunkist lemon.  These are so simple and boy do they smell good when they are baking. Fresh, clean, oh man so good smelling. Even my husband who is a chocolate junkie thought they were smelling very good (darn it...now I will have to get the spoon out to keep him away from these too).

Of course the baker needs to sample to make sure these are as good as the smell...Yes they are with a little zing.  Fresh tasting, lemonie and wonderful...I sprinkled  powder sugar on top to make it winter looking. OK, the might make it to the goodie bags...WOWSY!

Find this in the baking isle and share with your friends.  All you need is this package with 1/3 cup of water, three eggs and a oven, bake the crust (included) and then pour the filling in for 25-30 min till light brown.  Thank you Betty!  It's kinda homemade, and oh so good. I think it will go over well with citrus in the winter for a fresh twist.

It's not a bad thing to get a little help, just so it's tasty.  I give this product two thumbs up!

My Kristy you have your hands full. The lady I work with has a husband that is redoing their kitchen and she is going nuts and I don't blame her.I wish you luck in your painting and flooring and it goes quick! The lemon bars went over wonderful today...I was happy. I plan more to take to the in-laws.

I am not sure how Christmas came on so quick this year! We are just finishing a new prego floor in the family room and paining three rooms - over 1,200 sq. feet and it is the 18th!!! We have people coming in this Friday LOL
I bought this just last week and thought it looked good. Now I'll be sure to get this made!

Holy cow I just got everything together for the goodie bags...it was so much I have turned it into goodie buffet. I couldn't find the gift bags I normally use so I am bringing baggies and brown lunch bags...I have everything all dressed up in a huge tin...I dressed up a aluminum roasting pan...have to do a review on all my aluminum pans that I used....so handy. I just hope I don't drop it all before I get to work today uggg.

These sound awesome. I honestly am going to look for these the next trip to the grocery store. Wish you were MY co-worker! I want a goodie bag! ;)

Oh... now you're talkin'... I love lemon bars. I wish I had a co-worker to make these for me ;) But, you gave me a great idea of what I can give to some of my friends, and maybe myself too.

btw: you are absolutely correct... the baker for sure must sample before serving
