Betty Crocker Hamburger Helper Microwave Singles —

I grew up on Hamburger Helper because it is a great solution for dinner when you are so busy or your parents don't feel like spending a lot of time to get dinner on the table. These microwave singles are a great solution for the fast paced world of today, because they contain everything you need to serve up the Hamburger Helper you love, without a lot of stirring and cooking. The packets contain everything you need for a hearty meal, you just add some water and microwave for 4 to 6 minutes. This product is available in four flavors (Cheeseburger Macaroni, Cheesy Beef Taco, Stroganoff or Cheesy Lasagna). It comes packaged in a box with 4 individual serving packets and retails for about $3.79 a box. I was disappointed that all of the flavors are meat based. I am a vegetarian, but I serve up Hamburger Helper to friends a lot because it is easy and I like being able to add my own ingredients to the Chicken and Tuna Helper varieties. This meal is great for kids because it is easy for them to make, and contains about 210 calories. I tried these out on my friends, and they said it was chewy pasta and not a great meat flavor, but still good enough to eat. I love that it is so easy to make, so it is great for a quick pasta meal.
