Betty Crocker Cookbook: Everything You Need to Know to Cook Today Books — 

I grew up using my Mother's Betty Crocker cookbook, so this was one of the first cookbooks I bought when setting out on my own. I, of course, own the updated version! There are many great recipes in this book - for beginners and accomplished cooks alike. One of my favorite features is the fresh vegetable cooking chart. This chart provides a list of exactly how long to cook each vegetable, whether on the stove or microwave, as well as how to prepare the vegetable for cooking. This cookbook is a wonderful addition to any kitchen!
