This is the second book in this series from Beth Wiseman.  The first amazing book is called Plain Perfect and focuses on the life of Lillian.  This new, second book called Plain Pursuit focuses on the life of Carley (just love that name), who is Lillian's friend from Texas.  I like Carley's feisty, outspoken character.  Carley desperately needs a break from her life in Houston and decides to visit her friend Lillian in Pennsylvania.  Well, maybe she was kind of forced into taking that much needed break...LOL!  During her visit in PA, the quietness quickly changes with the illness of Lilllian & Samuel's son (David).  We then realize that the best local doctor to treat David is Samuel's brother (Dr. Noah, who sounds very hunky!).  Well Dr. Noah was shunned from the Amish community years ago.  Something Carley, nor I, agreed with.  Lots of secrets are revealed and new relationships are formed during this exciting, yet scary (due to David's health) time.

While I don't want to give too much away.  I will say that it's another great read by this author.  A perfect way to spend your time lying by the pool or in your hammock under a big shade tree this summer.

Can't wait for the next book Ms. Wiseman!

Speaking of hammocks. I bought one while on vacation almost 8 weeks ago and my brother still hasn't put it up.
