Pleasant Place to Stay

We only stayed one night on our way home from a week vacation in south Florida. The hotel was clean, quite and although we didn't use it, it was nice to have a pool side room. A panoply of things wrong with the hotel. They claimed to have wireless internet, but when I got there I was told this was only in limited areas (lobby). The room was clean but the wide front window could not be fully obscured by curtains allowing passersby to look in. The safe did not operate properly... read full review »

When I checked in the staff was extremely helpful. I recently hurt my back and they found me a room for the same price with a pillow top mattress for my comfort. Check out was easy and again a helpful and friendly staff. The room was just what I needed and came with a microwave and a small refrigerator. I was able to take home leftovers and heat them up for lunch the next day. I do not drink coffee but a coffee maker with coffee was available in the room. It was close to Delray Beach (one of my favorites)and good restaurants.

Basically a place to sleep

When we checked in, the air conditioner was not working for the hotel. We had to sleep the first night with the door propped open on the security chain. There was no attempt to compensate us for this major inconvenience. There were ants crawling around the sink 24/7. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk the reply was that this was South Florida and the ants were everywhere. I've stayed in other hotels where the ants were not a feature. The pool was ok and the court area was nice. Overall, the hotel was a two star at best, not a three star hotel

The hotel's location was it's selling point. It was conveniently located, close enough to Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping areas to fit any need. It was also very close to Highway 95 and other smaller highways. The room was a little small and not as clean as I would have liked it. But it was OK. The staff was competent and mostly friendly. I did like having the bathroom and the vanity area separate. There was adequate space to hang up or put away clothes and luggage.

This Best Western was very clean and well manicured. The accomodations in the room were very welcoming and clean. I liked the fact that the bathroom and vanity felt as if it were a separate room, affording privacy. The staff were all very friendly and willing to assit you with any needs you may have.

Shopping: Short Drive, The continental breakfast was more than I expected.

Restaurant/Lounge CLOSED!!!

I NEEDED a hotel with lounge and restaurant and they were boarded up and CLOSED!!! Very Very Unhappy Business Arrangement! The staff paid little attention to my complaints, and said they'd had many other "LIKE" complaints! The pool and hot tub were wonderful. Twice they forgot to clean my room.

Dining: Short Drive, Bring food with you.

The hotel, room staff and amenities are above par for the area verses the dollars spent. Anyy other comparable hotel on Boca is over $100.00 a night, this hotel is a True Value.

Entertainment: Short Drive, Everything Misner Park has dining and shopping the hotel is convienent to all of Southeast Palm Beach County

The rooms were spacious and very clean - the staff of the hotel were very friendly and assisting when needed. The grounds were very well kept as well as the pool area. The hotel was near shopping and other tourist destinations.

Shopping: Short Drive, Very close to Palm Beach area for shopping and dining.

The hotel was okay except there was a lot of construction and the place could use some cleaning. We had problems with the lighting in the room and also the toilet. Theroom itself was marginal in cleanliness.

Money Savers: Short Drive, dining was very good in the area.
