Beautiful and comfortable

The Best Western Mountain Lodge was very comfortable with a great room setup. We enjoyed the atmoshere of the restaurant, the food was delicious and the staff was fantastic. We were visiting Lees-McCrae college so we were right down the street. It also put us near other restaurants and snall shopping locations.

Dining: Short Walk, There's a great little restaurant/deli down the street that serves country style meals.

The hotel was okay. It was clean and the front desk was friendly. It was a typical hotel room. It was a good price.

Dining: Short Drive, There is a great restaurant called Stone Walls located in the town of Banner Elk, that was really good. Be prepared it is pricey.

The Best Western Banner Elk was very comfortable, centrally located and pet friendly. The hotel dining was a little expensive, but very good food and atmosphere.

Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, Grand Father Mountain and the Linville Caverns are must sees!
