I have adult cats and kittens and have bought these for both, and have bought both the smaller ones and the larger ones. The adult cats didn't seem to care for them much, and never really played with them. When we fostered the kittens I decided to try and buy the little ones to give them something to play with, their fairly inexpensive so not much lost if they did not like them. Once they discovered them, they just loved them. They will bat them all around the room and chase them, and they will run around the house with them in their mouths. I have noticed that occasionally small pieces seem to be torn off the ball. Overall I love them cause the cats love them.
