Berry has a large, beautiful campus, and there are only about 2,000 students. The class sizes are small and the staff members are overall very helpful. The students are very dedicated to their classes (maybe a little too much sometimes). There is a lot to get involved in on campus. Just like at any school, however, there some are issues including the fact that is is extremely expensive and the meal plan and student activities fee are not optional. There is a lot of financial aid offered as well, though this hasn't been enough for some students. Dissatisfaction with the Berry College experience generally comes when there just isn't enough to do in the Rome area (don't come to Berry to party and go clubbing, because there is really only one place in Rome for that and it's not that great), or when students have to leave because they cannot pay for everything. Berry is only about an hour from Atlanta and from Chattanooga, TN, however, so there are opportunities for city-life fun, they just aren't right outside your doorstep. Berry is a good school for the "outdoorsy" types.
